I call bullshit and hope they working behind the scenes away from the media. Even a couple of loans to tide us over till January to find quality replacements.

Nothing wrong with it, if it works it works especially since we saw how well they defend and command from the back.

Who, AEK? Do you think they’re the only team with a decent defence?

Lazy as *. Be as well binning the entire scouting department.

Plus the fact that full team was set up defensively. A well drilled team can obscure a players weaknesses.

    Would we notice a difference?

Compper, Eboué and Édouard are Rodgers’ only signings from beyond these shores, besides Izaguirre - a former player.

We are linked with a loanee from Manchester City and a former player from Manchester City and that is about it.

You’re saying that as if our scouting system is any good just now.

Exactly this, we were the superior side they were just organised and well drilled.

So the solution to us not signing any players being scouted is to just start signing players that have a good game against us like Sevco?

If the Scouting Department isn't working then sack Congerton and get someone else in.

It’s not lazy as *, the manager is seeing first hand what the players are like. I’m not saying it’s way to go but you can’t just brush it off saying it’s a * idea cause the huns done it. Like our scouting department have found us some quality defenders so far?

Man United signed Ronaldo because of how good he was against them in 1 game, there’s no reason it can’t work well.

AEK defended well as a unit, the whole team, that's the system they were playing, the individual players themself weren't anything outstanding, chances are if you threw their CBs into our open attacking system they'd get mugged.

Watch man city defend ,they mostly get away with how they play by having lethal attack and getting ahead first ,seen their highly paid defenders have a boyata and they play a similar style to us only with better players ,also they could and have virtualy bought the big cup ,so why have they not won it yet ,because there is about 2 teams who Will give them a game in epl maybe 3 ,their defence gets tested against teams in europe who are a lot smarter and can counter attack and happy to sit in and wait .
Mon team was the most efficient team we have had ,they knew how to get the most out that team ,could do the basics at the back ,lethal at set pieces and the perfect strickers set up for every challenge ,sutton a perfect link and hold up guy ,hartson great for teams who camp in ,a big bruiser who could barge his way through any tight defense and a great striker ,and the king ,the best header of a ball we have seen ,also lethal with either foot .
Still cant believe they got 9 points and failed to qualify for last 16 very unlucky in europe .

Played against them in a friendly, he ripped Uniteds defence apart then they signed him 5 days later.

You are rewriting history. Arsenal and United wanted him prior to that Friendly, the fact he played well against them meant United took the season long loan back option to Sporting off the table and signed him permanently.

Linking this all back to Celtic, we shouldn’t be signing anyone because that played well against us in a single game. That’s for the likes of the newco Huns who can’t afford proper networks.
