Having to go and win the game normally suits us to a tee. Be aggressive , attacking and we should be fine. We are a far better football team , 11vs11 showed that yesterday . If we are clinical we are through as we will create chances.

 

Just need to go over there and put in a solid 0-1 but were not capable of that AEK had a bit about them.

You could actually see the banks of players staying tight in formation and everyone staying focussed the whole game, even with 10 men. And, that was their first competitive game.

We are pathetic defensively. Utterly * clueless. SPL teams are so *, we have never had to learn how to properly defend.

That couple with the oppressive heat over there. I'm afraid we don't belong in the CL any more. * the board and their lack of ambition. Rodgers isn't without blame either. Unless behind the scenes he has been at them all of the close season to get * done,. he has neglected the defence for far too long.

Sorry to rant, but I am seriously * off with the lack of urgency when it comes to the CL qualification. The board are already spending * all with the money. What will they be like without it?

we can concede as many as we like as long as we match them so 2-2 would see us through.. it's far from over so we don't need to start talking about the Europa league just yet.

 

the defence is * thanks to no money been spent on it and think the greeks will score at least once so we will need to score once to take it to extra time hopefully but wouldnt be surprised we concede again if it got to that stage .
the ambition from the board is shocking and looks like its the europa cup for this year .

 

We absolutely can, I’m not sure we will however.

Had it been 0-0 I’d be fairly confident, however that away goal is a killer and we look a total shambles defensively.

 

Aye, will be very difficult to get goals off them or beat them. They rarely lose at all and they don't concede a lot so with them only needing a clean sheet they will be well versed in sitting in, holding the ball and killing games.

Last season they went unbeaten against PAOK and Olympiacos in their League who were the two other best teams and 2 good European teams themselves. They also went unbeaten in the Europa League in 10 games against Club Brugge, AC Milan, Rijeka, Dynamo Kiev and Austria Vienna.

Thats 14 games against a really good standard of team and they never lost any of them. Then they came over here and we never managed to beat them either.

 

Surely to * we will give it our all and turn them over, we are a better side for sure. Dread the negativity if we don't go through, scary how quickly some people go from complete elation to slating club and players below the belt over a couple of games.
