Celtic didn't adapt to break them down. If we didn't concede I actually think we would have tanked them. I thought we looked better with 2 up front.
I will say this is not down to the board, Brendan has to take responsibility, you would think he was made of Teflon at times. He picked that defence, he could have started simunovic or Gamboa. He could have gone with 2 up.

 

thought we played well tonight, on another day we could have scored 3 or 4, ball just didn't drop for us. I've seen enough tonight to say that we will score over in Greece

Very difficult position we're in now, didn't think we were too bad either, coming up to half time I was thinking it really could or should be 2-0 as we were pretty comfortable and dominating then long ball, Lustig not really trying to win it and Ajer switching off and leaving it and boom right in the *.

2nd half it seemed the goal was coming for a long time but it never did every shot went just off target and every break of the ball in the box landed to them to clear.

They must be delighted at how they escaped with a 1-1 as they never really done much and were down to 10 men.

 

Was said on tv, but we could have won that if they had 11 men on the park, the game was more open then.

 

Not a great result, obviously they will be delighted, but we need to get out of this mentality that if we don’t score 3 or 4 at home then we’re out.

Let’s up our performance levels and get a win over there. Teams do it all the time, but for some reason we’ve decided we can’t.

 

I don't understand how any are blaming him. He had a fast paced well placed shot coming at him, if he had got to it then it would have been a sublime save. People look for fault, Gordon did nothing wrong

 

do we go automatically into the EL group stages or is there another 3 * games to get into that * tournament as well. * uefa .champions league my *. why dont they just have to top * teams they want and be done with it money grabbing *.its a pity we or other smaller teams cant break away and form another league like they threatened to do in boxing, formula 1,and other sports etc. i said it before WE are Scottish Champions yet we have to play a pub team, travel further than Fineas * Fogg round the world, play AEK and then if they get through us they play * malmo. uefa need to be taken on. if the yanks were into their football and seen this champions league as not having any * champions in it they would break away and start another league but we in europe are * all but uefa lapdogs fighting for a morsel from their * corrupt table. * them.HH.WE played so well we deserve to go straight into their * CL but it will never happen. a couple of season on we will be lucky to get to the EL. and our board whatever they think should be giving brendan some * funds to bring in quality players to push all our players on but will they. will they *. all they want is beat deadco, win the league wash and repeat , no * European ambitions . thats what made lenny * off and brendan could do likewise. but i hope not i love that guy lol in a brotherly way .

 

We really should have scored another 2 against this lot and made their away goal meaningless, going to be tricky now.

Formation wasn’t right tonight. Not enough creativity, build up is so predictable.

Defence giving away a cheap goal again. Rodgers signed two CBs in his time here and both not good enough for this level. That’s a fact. Totally agree the board need to back him further but BRs defensive signings haven’t been good enough.

And Scott Sinclair! Waste of a jersey, no confidence and does the same thing every time he gets the ball.

Ntcham was superb the night on a positive note.

Definitely not Gordon's fault. Defence let them have a free shot at him.

Hendry is not at our level. Unsure if he ever will be.

Lustig is past it now.

Our approach to the window has been abysmal. Why wait until after we qualify to strengthen.

I hope Rodgers really gets the boot into the board and Lawwell after this. He's named the players he wants and we've let him down so far.
