Number 7 !

The Legendary Number 7 shirt belongs to no-one after we got rid of that waste a space Zurawski! So who does everyone think should get it. I dont think anyone at the club deserves it just now but thats just my opinion, so if we make a top class signing i think he should be issued with it

we debated this last week actually, i think it should be given to mc geady while others think it puts too much pressure on players wearing it. liverpool today said they wouldn't be giving anyone the number 7 as it puts too much pressure on players as it leads to comparisons to keegan and dalgliesh.

wouldn't call magic a waste of space either, thins ended badly but i wasn't complaining when he was banging the goals on

No rush to give someone the number 7 shirt, if Aiden or Skippy keep progressing like they are at the moment then maybe for the 09/10 season one of them could get it.

Alike clagan24 said, Magic wasnt a bad player for us, he scored a good number of goals in his first season, the only goal in an OF game at Ibrox and I think he scored 4 in one game, bad players dont score 4 in 1 game.

He had a first good season mate but started to make smart remarks and slagged off Celtic and in the second season he was too lazy. I only meant that he didnt deserve number 7

Mcgeady prefers the number 10. I know big jan has it thats why Aiden chose 46, 4+6=10.

in all fairness the number seven shirt has always held a special place in our hearts, rightly do it should go to a special player and the only one player that we have that comes anywhere near enough is aiden. We'll just have to see what is signed in the summer

its only a number, but if there changing Aidos number they should do it sooner rather than later so no1 gets his old number on a new jersey. always leads to problems
