More than paper talk according to who? The papers and * bloggers.

The club hasn't made a habit of commenting on the 90 players that get linked in and out every window, why start addressing tabloid rumours now just because it's about KT?

I kinda agree with you but there comes a point when it is unfair surely. Personally I think we are pretty much at that point tbh. Anyway I better not go off topic :fear: So,

Hopefully he tells everton to suck his baws :giggle1:

Okay bud, believe what you wish.

It's quite clear to me that Everton are interested, that "long chat" Brendan had with him over the interest wasn't over tea and scones.

Paper talk. Remember Christmas day dembele to Bournemouth for £18M plastered everywhere including a big gold banner across sky sports news. There was more reporting of that mob knocking back £10M from china for dunderheed than this story. Did the folk believing this believe that? If it was Spurs as the main story id be worried as they look like they could turn into a real top team next season but Everton for £25M give me a break. On to the next fabrication please. Silly season indeed for some of you.

I hear there’s a scheme we can use where we give signings a lump sum on top of their wages to put in to an offshore account.

Some trust fund or something? As long as they don’t declare it we’re sound. Absolutely no problem.

Ingenious, let's do that and latterly claim it doesn't give us any sporting advantage.

What’s the worst that can happen? If we get liquidated we can just keep sayin.. ‘Naw we didnae’ and eventually we will all believe it..

I already offered a tin of corned beef..if that's not enough then I don't think any amount of cash will sway him... ;)

I dream of a society where those EPL have their TV contracts and oligarch money taxed like *, and that money would go to the society they used to represent. Corbyn should propose that. We wouldnt have much to lose, we are not getting Patrick Roberts back anyway

Corbyn supports a massive Premier league team. The team in the UK with the most expensive season tickets and tickets the average guy cannot afford.

Regards to tax I would imagine most footballers earning 20k plus a week would hire an accountant to enable the least possible tax while remaining legal.

Disagree, don't think it's a no-brainer at all. Even from a financial perspective.

He's on 20k a week and if he were to fulfil 4 of the 6 years of his contract he'd already have made over 5m out of the club, developed as a player and entered the history books of the club by the age of 25. At this point he could either negotiate another contract on better terms at Celtic (unlikely) or seek a move to the EPL where fees/wages will have invariably increased even further in the intervening years. This seems like the infinitely more sensible option: history maker at Celtic, then move on as a more developed player capable of commanding the type of contract that could well be in excess of 150k pw for the remainder of his career.

I think there has been talk by both clubs and everton bailed after finding out the fee needed ,wot am more worried about is spurs and the chat kt and br had regarding transfer rumours , would br convince kt that "you dont know wots around the corner regarding injury " and advise jump while your the x factor .
No one knows wots in kt head just now ,but the strange thing in all of this was while being linked to man u ,he came out and said he is going no where ,why would it change for everton ?.

He’ll stall his development big time if he’s here until he’s 25 though and probably have no chance of getting a move to one of the top teams.

Scenes when he two-foots Kenny Miller on the 4th August, gets up, runs over to the GB, grabs the megaphone & shouts ‘Am no * leaving. Up the RA!’
