Well what ever possessed me to think it was a Jan move, but still don't remember wanyama being a immediate success.

Efe Ambrose was an immediate success, haha. I'm holding proper judgement until he's had a run of games, but we need to deliver on that. I think he's a more skilful box to box player and not similar to Wanyama, in any case.

    Exactly if true mate..

A loan may work tho, just to get him some much needed game time, even if it’s only til Jan..

So Brendan brings him in and raves about him, as well as saying he's Broony's successor....but we may sell him before he's even been given a chance..

    Sounds legit..

Bitton and Gamboa should go before loaning out kouassi for game time ,he's hardly had a shot so far while the other 2 are proven not to be good enough.

With Roberts ,Musonda,Sviatchenko and Ciftci away there is clearly some wages to play with in terms of incoming.

Wouldn't be surprised. He's been so far out of the picture it's ridiculous.

    Can't see it.

If he we do sell him however I have a horrible feeling we would regret it big time.

    Aye it's been pretty strange..

Brendan has bigged this boy up something special in training and said only the form of Broony has kept him out..

Massive performances against Zenit and that first half against the diets..

If he goes it will be obvious that Brendan was making excuses about being this player for the future, when really he didn't rate him that highly and was a failed signing..

I think if he goes he'll go on loan to an SPL side, similarly to Christie, Allan etc and let the batch below us fight it out....as we've been doing the last few year..

I just don't understand this. He has so many good attributes. Think it would be a stupid decision to sell him.

But I'm done kidding myself, it's pretty clear he's not a favourite of Brendan's, for some reason.

if we get the 3-4m back that we paid for him can't really complain although he should've got more game time towards the end of the season. It's strange because he looked class against Lyon, Zenit and Ireland, yet in the league (2-3 games I can remember) he struggled to get involved and picks up silly yellows.

Would've liked to see him play next to Brown next season but now it seems more than likely it will be McGinn instead.

I think he's good, just not as good as Ntcham or Broony. From what I've read we aren't trying to sell him, he wants regular first team football so he's not willing to be a squad player and Brendan wants a strong squad so we'll need to loan him or sell him.

Loaning him would probably be the best compromise cause if he plays well we could keep him or sell him for even more?

    Where's Ntcham going?

There's no reason why we should get back what we paid, never mind more!

Hasn't made his international breakthrough, played * all football, hasn't progressed - If anything we lose money. I wouldn't sell, he should be loaned. Would like to see him stay in British football, Championship probably the most realistic.

There will be a mad clamour for McGinn now, and I can see him being fan-linked on loan to Hibs as part of the deal. Not sure how realistic that is.

Hope we don't sell, he's looked good in flashes and I think Rodgers pretty much said the only reason he hasn't had games is Brown playing so well, we don't need two DMs domestically, he still trusted him enough to put him in for europe even with his lack of game time til then.

It's an odd one, if we're not going to rotate/rest Brown at some point he would be better going on loan.

Brown could get injured at any time though, which is why I think he doesn't go out on loan. Brown gets fouled a lot, and while he is a double hard * * tacklers like Shinnie and Naismith will hurt him eventually. It is good to have a guy you trust in that you can put someone in if you want Brown to rest off knocks so he can play in the big games.
