    I so hope all the overpriced mediocrity we are being linked with don’t come to pass.
    Allen is lightweight, weak, inconsistent and generally not very good within a relegated team.

    He had a couple of good performances for Wales and that’s about it (but then so did Ashley Williams, Robson-Kanu and Sam Vokes)

    Please no.

  9. There will always be speculation about him as apparently he had a clause that cut his pay by 50% after relegation so other teams could afford him but he has never been worth the £13m paid for him.

  16. Mad to think that this time 2 years ago we were all for signing him and that he would be an improvement on the team.

    2 years later, Brown is even better, Ntcham is here, Rogic is a wizard, McGregor is an unsung hero, Armstrong had a great first season under Rodgers, so now Allen isn't good enough :56:
