Well done to him if his loan team have won the Danish league. Hope this convinces them to give us a good fee for him when the window opens.

Anyone pining for his return is going to be disappointed. I think he lacks the pace that Rodgers desires.

No chance he’s as slow as a week in the * jail, and he is a walking penalty shout with that grabbing * constantly.

He’s probably a better passer than Boyata but not as good a defender.

He better hope a Hull or a Barnsley are looking for centre backs then.

We like to trash the SPL but the fact that Erik and Pukki can kill it in the Danish league suggests that the quality here isn't as bad as some make out.

Tired of this 'far superior league' type comment made about leagues we are equal too or better than.

Good luck to him. Hopefully we got a nice transfer fee to balance things out.

Not sure it's the league but more the goldfish bowl of pressure that comes with playing for Celtic.

We paid 1.5m for him and we don't want him .Taking a small loss is no biggy. 1m in money and his salary can be used to pay new players

He raises up as a football player.
    He rises like human beings.
Therefore, of course, it is tempting to compare him with the tallest, most beautiful and most robust mountain in the Ukrainian Carpathians, but you can "just" call him what he is - an excellent football player and a wonderful person.

26-year-old Erik Sviatchenko returns home to FC Midtjylland, where the defender with the Ukrainian roots has signed a four-year contract.

It creates both great joy and pride in FC Midtjylland that the club has the opportunity to attract a distinctive profile from the Scottish big club Celtic, to which Erik changed in January 2016.

He did so after many years in FC Midtjylland, where he first became an academic player and since his team play at the Superliga team, stuck his name to a bottom of great leadership, loyalty, football intelligence and his explosive style.

Erik's high level also gave him a debut at the national team of then country coach Morten Olsen, and he proved a lease agreement this spring that Erik Sviatchenko and FC Midtjylland are basically a good match - culminating with both Eriks and the club's second Danish championship.

"Erik's role for us this spring can not be overestimated. He has a thorough knowledge of our DNA - as he himself has under the skin - and he can and will pass the same dna to the club's younger players, says sports director Svend Graversen, stressing that it is not only football player that the strong defender is of great importance to the club.

"He means much more and more than that - the man and the brand Erik Sviatchenko, for example, also have great value for us. We are very happy to have him back, Svend Graversen strikes.

Just the defensive proved to be a major factor in the spring as another important champion, and on the exciting journey, Erik played a significant and invaluable role according to FC Midtjylland's sports director.

"With this agreement we maintain the defensive continuity and stability, which is important to us, while at the same time the new agreements with Erik and Tim Sparv prove that we are firmly in the team's backbone," says Svend Graversen.

For Erik there were several options when the rental agreement with FC Midtjylland laced against the end, but he chose a permanent agreement with the familiar on the basis of something as universal as crush.

"I've been in love with the club for more than a decade, and when I got home on the rental agreement this spring, it was like getting bogged down again," he explains.

He is pleased that the love is reversed and he compares the relationship with the model witch.

"I'm proud and pleased that FC Midtjylland with their act in this trade has shown that they really want me. The club has modeled me both as a human and football player, and in the same way I have tried to give something back both as a human and football player. We are meeting an exciting time and I am looking forward to being part of an environment that rests on many of the values I also hold, says Erik Sviatchenko.
