There is a title showdown between he and Pukki (who is almost a hero at Brondby and has a goal scoring record so good its scary) next round.

25 goals in all comps, from 36 games. His best season, but not 'scary'.

Found his level, fair play to him. I can imagine the Danish league isn’t as rough and tumble as ours.

Actually thought he was a decent striker, guess he just didn’t fit in with the team

Maybe the style is a bit different, probably was part of his problem. But if a team like Aberdeen or Hibs played there would get their * ripped.

The thing is it is constant. It was even better last season, also good when he was out on loan, and he contributes with a fair share of assists too.

It's comparable with the 40 goal season of Griff, except that despite smaller numbers (62 domestic goals so far) it's lasting two years and a half, the level of opposition is better and the team he plays for is worse.

Not that i want the guy back. He had his time and didnt cut through. But he is far from being the horrible footballer some people paint.

Coming back to Erik, same thing. He was one of the most present players in the unbeaten season, came back immediately to the second best team of Denmark and had an impact. It cant be that this guy is so useless he cannot have a place in a team where Boyata is guaranteed to play.

Was one of my favourite players for whatever reason. Still think he would've had more success if he was given more oppurtunities - I mean literally given the ball more. I remember watching highlights of that season and while Commons and Stokes, even Ledley were ripping it up, they would have so many oppurtunities to play in Pukki and he was always passed on.

Curious how he would've done on the wing with us.

Pukki had the heart of a mouse.

Abiding memory of him is the players celebrating the league title win in the dressing room and he was * himself in the corner sitting down. Something Lennon alluded to in an intwrview talking about his withdrawn personality. Just wasn't cut out for Celtic.

Not on the same level of disaster as a bangura or Brozek though. Definitely a decent player.

At least he never bothered joining in as he was a wee quiet *.

That fat baldy * Guidetti refused to celebrate the League or Cup as he wasn't getting a game as he was dropped for being *.

I always remember him that Cup final, I think he came on and was choking to steal a penalty off Forrest? and Forrest missed it, as everyone was going about celebrating at the end he just stood in the centre-circle himself then he done the same when we won the League, kept out the way of everyone.

Glad to see his career going nowhere, hope he ends up back here playing for Kilmarnock or somecunt before he retires so we can rip the pish out him.

Yeah I remember it as well. Just his attitude.

Shame tbh because at one stage he did have talent. One of those players that was constantly suggested on here.

Guys like Ibra can pull that * off because they are top class. By the end Guidetti was just a wannabee.

I'd rather big Erik in the team than Boyata. Better player in my opinion just lost his way abit.

    * knows how their league works, playing a team 42 points behind them in a play-off game is pretty confusing. 2 shots on goal for the other team against a Midtjylland side that played with 3 at the back. congrats anyway, hopefully his confidence is back or we can at least sell him on

It's a lot like the scottish, at least in the upper part. Everyone play each other twice, then split, and the upper 6 play each other again. They decide to call their split "playoff" only, its not a playoff exactly. In the lower part though, the rules are more complicated. Let's say there, a team with a record like Brechin could simply not be relegated even though not winning anything

This very same team they played against came back from 0-2 to draw with Brondby in the last minute (with two goals of a guy called Finnbogason, albeit not that one), in the previous round, taking the title away from Brondby.

4 league titles in a row with two different teams is quite an achievment for the big man

Seen him walking his dog down Finnieston one day, I was in car. I seen him. He seen me. Was a cute wee black dog.
