YOU Can Only Support 1TEAM!!!!!!

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by -LiAMo-, May 19, 2008.

  1. Same here :50: It just wouldn't feel the same.

  2. So if Celtic signed a great wee English player who got into his NT a bit... would that be a mockery to root against England?

  3. U can only support one team IMO aswell. I hate when you hear folk saying they support say something like Barnsley and Man United it just doesnt happen ffs. Someday in my college tries to say hes a Hull and Man Utd supporter :97: You love one club you like the rest or hope the rest win thats it.

  4. ha ha, talk about backing the two sides of a coin, eh i support man u,chelski, arsenal and liverpool and i have a feeling i love man city too now!! ive the EPL cornered

  5. argh.

Its easy, I support two teams regularly and Glasgow Celtic when I come with my old man , with the same emotions for all, I celebrate each goal with the same passion ,the difference is one is non league and one EPL, to be honest the standing and singing at FC United is a better match day experience than the sit down and shut up athmosphere at Old Trafford and Celtic Park
No conflict of intrest I love them all

  8. people should support the one team...celtic. none of this man utd liverpool pish as well

  9. I think some people are mistaking supporting with liking. I don't think anybody who has 2 clubs on the same level is a true "supporter" of either except for some extremely rare cases.

And as for the guy cheering for the US, it's not that hypocritical... obviously Celtic is miles ahead of any other club for me, but I'd cheer for the US over Scotland... just like all the other people from different countries would do.

  10. Exactly on the country thing.

The like - support difference has been echoed throughout the thread and I agree with that as well.
I enjoy watching quite a few teams but I don't buy their jerseys or wake up at insane hours every week for them unless it's a marquee matchup -- and half the time I'll change my mind when the alarm goes off anyway.

  11. Is it ok to support Celtics and a EPL club?

  14. i have to be honest and say that i support 2 teams, celtic 1st obviously and i also support greenock morton as their my local team :50:

I totally agree. I support Celtic and only Celtic even when * come out with I'm a die hard Celtic fan but just a huge Man Utd fan oh * please what a load of *.

  15. i can understand that:50:

  16. Exactly man :50: i hate when goons come out with that pish like that. Other people as well a dont like are the ones that support a team coz there decent like people are like im a Chelsea fan and your like mate have you ever been to a Chelsea game before or do you have a Chelsea top ( they dont have hee haw) usually you'll find they dont even watch the games

  17. usually its glory hunters who support these other teams, i dont give a * about glory ill stick with MY club through it all!

  18. Who the * died, and made you the deciding factor in football supporting?someone can support as many teams, or as little teams , as they wish, without you calling them * and deciding they are talking *.

  19. For a start, i've been to Goodison and bought plenty of thier tops over the years,i watch as many of Everton's games ads possible, oh, and i'm not a * goon.
