Not the best performance, not the worst either. StJ have often been a bit of a thorn in our side in recent years, even in the recent form they've been in, they are getting the benefit of a few iffy Beaton calls, and have been a little sharper, but again, to be expected with so many players returning to the team after a lay off, time out etc. But this is just about as well as St J can do against us and it's still been pretty comfortable.

Kinda what was expected when saw so many changes to the lineup, could hardly expect the same kind of fluency that was on display on Thurs. BR is right to have put out the team he has, which is still more than capable of getting a result today. Would expect it to open up and a few more chances created in the second half. St J legs will tire and with the likes of Rogic, Sinclair et al, not to mention the guys on the bench, think we are still in line for a reasonably comfortable afternoon here.

I disagree with everything about your post but the bit about Boyd is hilarious

    I'd be embarrassed..

You can risk dropping points when you are light years ahead of the opposition.

You don't try to blood the youth when you are neck and neck with the next best team in the league.

Priority being given to the European Campaign is very sensible.

We will probably win today, I certainly think we will. But even if we don't, we are further ahead in the league than we were on Saturday morning. That's a good weekend.

Dunno mate i think this is slightly better than being 2-0 down to Hearts.

Engage your brains and think about the team that's out.

You honestly think we can put out a team like this and automatically expect free-flowing fitba?

And, btw, it might no be the greatest first 45 mins we've watched, but that wasn't "pish" - pish would be going in at half-time LOSING.

When we were amazing against the Russians on Thursday, I bet you weren't all over that thread but when we're *, you are all over this one.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that rangers media has been taken down right enough. I don't know why everyone can't see through you. You're reeking.

Anyway, we've missed Brown as usual when he's out.

I was worried it would be like this. After the high of the Europa on Thursday, loads of changes, no Brown and up against a St Johnstone side that will only ever turn up and try to be organised, physical and make it as hard as possible for us to get into a rhythm.

We've been playing like this domestically a lot recently, anyway, so I guess I shouldn't be surprise, but I was hoping the Zenit game would just kickstart us a wee bit.

Nah, just find him boring and every tackle is a foul, warrants a booking, we can never have an offside etc. I appreciate as a CELTIC tv commentator he will be bias but it takes it to a new level at times.

Granted these * have booted us numerous times. Its the same every game though, always about the refs, just talk about the game!

The problem is every time we rest half the team and more we play pish and end up drawing, 8 point lead in the league not a big lead mate
Absolutely brilliant on Thursday, st Johnstone would be delighted when they saw our starting 11, play our strongest 11 get a lead take top guys off

Good one, the old "must be a hun if he doesn't blindly praise Celtic 24/7 come back", from the one who knows Rangers Media is down. You must be the hun you * muppet.

Look it’s a waste of time having this back and forth.

I’m happy to just leave it at that.

I like him, he's a fan and doesn't hide the fact and when he's in the mood his bias is comedy gold.

Going backwards. Poor first 43 seconds of the second half.

Not saying Boyd’s some sort of great commentator but people singling him out is weird to me. Far better than the likes of Walker, Provan, Sutton etc.
