Scott Sinclair!

Kept an eye on him throughout the entire game yesterday.

Annoyed the * out of me at times - when Celtic don't have possession, Sinclair tends to drift inside.

Then, when Celtic have possession, more times than not he hugs the touchline and doesn't make as much space for the midfielders, or the full back behind him.

 

No more excuses..

Came on and twice was in a great position to let the left fly but refused..

Shat out of tackles. Shat out of beating their diddy right back. Crossing absolutely disgusting..

Disgusting showing. Not for the first time..

 

Awful today has been most of the season though in all honesty

 

I know it might sound harsh considering how many goals he’s scored for us but at times I find myself really disliking him.

He’s so * frustrating. For a player with his ability he should be head and shoulders above every opposition player on the pitch, every single game.

Yet he’s forever tripping over the ball, running into players and giving the ball away cheaply.

 

No confidence or fight in him at the minute

 

Terrible. Again.

Have to say the fans have been brilliant with him. Week after week they sing his song and get behind him even though he is giving them very little in return.

 

Shocking how much he has regressed from last season. A shadow of the player.

 

I dont care what his stats say or what argument you can make against his comparisons between this season and last...

He's been poor and generally non existent for far too long this season. Started slow in qualifiers and never picked up his act in the league. I'd like to see Musonda start on the left, or work Roberts down that side if possible when he's healthy. Sinclair doesn't deserve an automatic start.

 

He's not getting one. He didn't start on Wednesday and he was on the bench again today. Brendan can obviously see what we're all seeing.

 

He should be running at his man almost constantly and eliminating/freeing up space. He should be whipping balls in whenever he can. He should be able to fire in with his left foot with his ability..

He's a shitebag..

never stands up to counted when we are playing poorly, all well and good banging them in when we are playing well but for a player who has his ability he needs to be the one to change the game or to drag Celtic to the win, instead when the team plays badly he hides and takes no responsibility

 

Ran out of patience with him tbh his scoring records great but he's been awful for most of the season, if he starts against Zenit it shows Rodgers cant see past him cause he's shown nothing to suggest he should start that game.

 

Sinclair is one-dimensional- absolutely hates do to a run down the wing. Which makes it easy for him to be sussed out. Either he fixes that, or his Celtic career will go downhill, and FAST.

 

He wasnt great, but at least ran at them, final ball was poor, im more worried about the guy on the other wing, turning into the usual Forrest, passed the ball back * knows how many times, thought a good couple of runs at start of second half then went missing.

 

Much more tentative this season.. but he at least tried to create..

Our battle was lost in the midfield today, with Ntcham, Eboue & Brown being outplayed and dominated.

 

Brown Armstrong Rogic were a massive reason we played so well last season,that midfield 3 gave us the best balance imo

 

You can not take Armstrong , Roberts , Rogic , Griffiths out of the side and expect Sinclair to pick up all the slack.
