He's left footed, what prohibits him from playing left wing?

Wouldn't even call him a striker. In fact, I have no idea what I'd call him. Not an out an out striker, not a winger. Fact is we wouldn't have a position for him IMO.

That was his problem at Everton really could never really get a run in the side in 1 position. I said previously when he left Everton i wouldn't have taken him as the money they wanted was OTT. However having seen him play at Brum and knowing they'll be championship material next year i'd have a look if they were willing to take a hit on their intial fee which is probably not likely.

correct ,celtic never chased him ,only on loan , anyway he has came out and said he will stay there ,wrong choice in my eyes ,but good luck to him if he stays ,at least hes loyal if he does stay not a lot of players like that anymore ,

He's only seen as a good player within Scotland because the fans still * him after the goals he scored.

I wouldn't touch him for the price they'll be asking, hes average and there will be much better players in europe for less cash.

a seen him play Against Newcastle, whom he ran the deffence raggad, then play as a lone striker against arsenal and riped them apart, would be some signing.

Why do we need him at Celtic. We don't operate with a long striker or with a man just behind the strikers so we would have no place to play him. He isn't an out and out striker like Skippy so would be wasted up top IMO. Good player but not for us.

I'd sign McFadden and Fletcher (Man Utd's) as they have carried the national team in the last 4 years and have proven that they are quality players. The fact that they are both Celtic fans is a bonus I suppose. In the SPL they would be outstanding and would also be suitable for CL as well.

i would take mcfadden at celtic any day! not to b unfair to the naka..but performances of late haven't been up to the standard he usually provides( excluding the 2-1 old firm victory ). naka turns up when he wants and is usually a passenger in the game..with mcfadden you've got a guy who will give 100% every game and could add that bit of grit playing alongside barry robson to the celtic team that has been missing so often this season!

The fact he went to BIRMINGHAM says it all.

    No ambition whatsoever.

You never even bid for him. He cost Brum £6m. He turned down more money from Everton to play first team football. Get over yourself.

Credit to McFadden, they'll be back up in a season if they go down.
