If it was a seven figure loan fee it’s been * into the wind tbh imagine if we had paid the £8m for him Lawwell would be spewing! All joking aside BR said upto 3 months might be quicker you never know but what I do know is I would punt Hayes and get a winger in even on loan to cover us to summer

You can’t really account for these things; it can happen with any loan move or permanent transfer.

We won’t miss him too much domestically (we don’t play many games, if any, in January), and, hopefully, he will be back for the Europa League Round of 16. :celt_2:

He took a while to get properly going last season too iirc, his best football was February onwards

Either it's something to do with training, or we just have some injury prone players.

Boyata, Jozo, Griff, Dembele and Roberts. That's 5 big players for us who can't entirely be trusted to stay fit for extended periods of time.

If it was training then it would be a wider range of players. Tierney is never injured and former glass man Lustig is nearly an ever present

We've had players out continually for lengthy periods, guys like Tierney are the exception. Jozo, Boyata, Erik, Moussa, Paddy, Griff, Kouassi have all been long term, some of them more than once

If there was anything causing injuries at training, you can guarantee it would be fixed by the management team.

Sports science, technology and data can't prevent bad tackles or knocks. These things help guys prepare their bodies better, but it doesn't mean injuries can magically be eradicated.

Every team has a certain few players more prone to injury than others and given how our opponents generally play against us we should have a higher than average instance of injuries. I would assume we are easily the most fouled team in a league of mainly hammer throwers

That good he's going down to City to get it looked at, i can only imagine they have some of the best specialists working for them for this kind of thing.

Desperately missing his creativity and skill right now. Offers something different which no one else in the team does.

Any word on when Paddy is back? Forrest is playing brilliantly just now but paddy offers a different option, even through the middle.

That’s a shout. Honestly think if we want him enough we could get him. Need a winger now as well with Hayes injured.

Players get injured that's the nature of the business.. if there was an issue with the way we train then Forrest would we defo have been a casualty by now.. but he looks as fit as ever (touch wood)..

On Sinclair, maybe we should put in a cheeky bid and try and secure him on a Perm deal in Jan..
