What a battle that would be if KT and PR were in direct opposition.

Who would come out on tops?

I reckon PR would meg him a few times before KT put him right oot the park.

KT would come out on top I have no doubt.

Roberts would however, roast Naylor/Mahe/Crainey/Laursen/Wilson/Gray/Boyd/Rogan etc etc

That’s a hard one. Think Paddy would get the beating of him a couple of times but then KT be his normal reliable self. Can’t remember many occasions where I have seen people get passed KT easily. His tackling is superb. He didn’t give Robben a sniff when we played Bayern.

Hopefully we will never have to see them up against each other unless it is in training.

    Would be some battle though.

An amnesty would be declared followed by a warm embrace between the two. They would be last seen walking off into the sunset together towards the nearest Nandos while everyone else looks on bewildered by the situation and jealous of their love.

Hopefully we sign Paddy proper and never have to see it, would be worth the watching tho.

It's not really a fair battle tbh.... Roberts is a natural left footer, playing on the right.

This makes KT slight favourite in any one-on-one duel down the line IMO.

If there's no space for Roberts to operate inside, then my money would be on KT keeping him fairly quiet for majority of a game.

Think Roberts would get the best of him over 90. KT would manage to stop him a few times though.

Tierney, easily. Roberts is predictable, not as quick, not as strong and not as good.

If Tierney can shackle Arjen Robben then he can handle Roberts.

    Tierney easily.

Bodied Arjen Robben twice in a few weeks.

Robben not as good as he once was.

He's still on a whole other level to Roberts though.

Which part is confusing you lad...?? It's fairly basic tactics 101 tbh.

When Roberts plays on the right, he plays as an inverted winger.... not like a natural right footer would on that side.

Therefor, he mostly favors coming inside onto his left foot.

A far more interesting duel, for me, would be Forrest Vs KT.... natural right winger who likes to beat a full back on the outside. Might be a close battle right now, Forrest is in good form!

    Your nonsense is confusing, "lad".

Yes, Roberts plays on the right, which is Tierney's preferred side.

But, you do realise that Roberts is a left footed inside forward, aye? Which means when he cuts into his LEFT foot, Tierney then would (hypothetically) naturally come on to his weaker foot.

I suggest you get yersel back to your tactics book....
