I'm not feeling as confident as I was after watching Der Hun struggle to beat St Johnstone.

I know they're tired and I know they're missing players through injury and suspension but after watching them midweek it showed that even with all their problems their brand of grinding negative football is always hard to beat.

First goal as ever is the key, if we get it I think we could win easily. If they get it, it'll be a loooooooooooong afternoon.

That's what I've noticed with the Huns. Score first and they have to actually come out and play a bit, thereby space opens up for others to exploit. If we get to a point where they score first and we're an hour in, I'd seriously go 3-4-3 as we'd be left with no other option. This is a must win for us and I'd honestly say this is more important a game than the last 2 OF games as if we win this we open up a sweet little cushion between us and them, despite their games in hand. They will feel pressure if we win today, I've no doubt about it and I suspect they'll be trying to pull every trick in the book to slow things down and make this a horribly dull game!

Don't be surprised also to see a couple of reds in this game. I just hope the Huns lose it and get both of them!

Prediction is a very hard fought 2-0 win for us with another late goal.

 

I can't sleep either -- and I'm eight hours behind you, meaning it's 1:30 a.m. right now and the game starts in three hours.

 

There going to sit in and defend. They are good at that and we have been regularly poor at creating and or taking chances. I'd be tempted to bench Skippy for this match as he hasn't been on form since the turn of the year IMO. Brown will probably get back in ahead of Robson even though Robson has looked good in the last couple of games. Caldwell i also presume will return to add his presence and assured touch at the back.

Still, 5-0 to the hoops.
