Edouard and a Benkovic/Denswil type CB and I'm a happy bhoy.

A quality CB signing is a must today. No excuses, if we do then it would have been a very successful and satisfying window. If we don't then we will struggle in CL , he is getting better and more consistent but always feel Jozo is always 1 game away from another injury.

 

If we were aiming to sell today instead of buy, you can bet your bottom dollar they'd not have even went home last night.

Funny how all.the stipulations, "due diligence", "these things take a lot of time" claims only apply when we're spending, our selling of players always seems to go incredibly smoothly

 

a striker, a CB and maybe a LB...

cant see us getting all three but I'd be happy enough with edouard.

CB may have to wait until January given that I dont think we've had a big enough list of targets on that front.

 

Striker (maybe on loan) would be good.

A cb is a priority though. Most years, our summer cb situation would have * our CL chances.

I understand the frustration but I also think when WE buy players we make a bit of a meal of it, security d value come first for us.

Although when we sell it tends to be to the EPL, who just throw the money on the table and waltz away

 

Also prepare yourselves for micky mouse offers from mid and bottom table epl teams designed to reassure their fans that theyre trying to sign someone.

 

If nothing else, get the psg guy over the line and a cb in of decent calibre to partner jozo /rotate with boyata.


Ideally another keeper and a left back, but I am content with Miller and ralston involvement

If we dont have any movement on a player come 4pm its fair to assume Edouard is our only signing today, but we live in hope!

 

Genuinely interested to see what Celtic forums, twitter, etc. would be like if we sign both a striker and centre half today.

Will the transfer threads... be happy?! Rather than all the club accountants that usually come on moaning about how our expenditure and profit reports mean we could've signed Ronaldo if Peter Lawwell hadn't installed his back scratching baw tickling heated driveway?

I expect 1 and will be happy with that. Nothing and ill be blaming the drive.
