Starting to get worried tbh, 24 hours left and still 2 short imo. At least get a new CB in, a 3rd choice striker would also be preferable.

Come back to me in a day or so.

Although admittedly I won't be holding my breath.

We do need a CB for our CL campaign. * facing Anderlecht with Bitton at CB, let alone Bayern or PSG.
However, I'm not too bothered if it's a loan of some sort. I'm sure we'll get someone, we were unlucky with that Rivaldo problem.

Jesus. When will people learn that running a football club isn't free. We don't have much of last years money left, and we don't have the money from this years qualification yet either.

Nonsense. Brendan has repeatedly said last season is in the past and they've all been told not to dwell on it.

haha totally fooling yourself though if you don't think 2X30mil CL entry, plus the prize money of 3 CL draws in that group, 2x50,000 season tickets and all our other sources of income, from sponsorship to merchandise to player sales, doesn't far and away exceed what we've spent.

I don't get this. Jozo and Boyata should start, not Bitton

Unless people have read the accounts released by Celtic, they shouldn't comment on club finances.

Aye and unless you've played professional football you should never criticise a professional footballer.

Boyata probably won't be back for the PSG game at the earliest.

Will be behind in fitness as well so even Anderlecht away is a dodgy one.

Either way we shouldn't be forced into playing Bitton. I agree.

Dispute what the media claim, it's not that simple. We don't just get £30m fired into the budget, it's gradual payments and most of it goes into other areas of the club. We've spent around £12m since January already as well, and i don't see us budgeting based on money we've yet to receive for this years campaign.

And i'm not saying we shouldn't bring anyone else in btw.

Well if thats true then hopefully we get someone in who can start that game, weird that both Lawwell and Brendan were saying we wre looking to bring in another 2 and it's gone so quiet.

Well it's pretty obvious we need a CB and another striker is it not, is there a overreaction yes but I can see why.

    This.

If the deadline passes and we haven't signed anyone else, myself and plenty of others will quite rightly be * off.

Thats it I'll not be back to watch Celtic.
They haven't told us about targets or how signing talks are going. We have the same * team as last season. Could have at least spent 20mill on 2 extra players. Even drawing at home at the weekend was unacceptable and it looks like we are doomed. Nothing ever goes right and they are making mugs of us.

Reading that back all sounds pretty * Moany and pathetic. In BR we trust.

This is it in a nutshell.

Squad has done terrifically well over the past year but we can't stand still and admire our achievements.

Obvious where our weaknesses lie and we have to continue to look for improvement.

Jozo will (touch wood), Boyata may not be fit in time.

Nah it's just not acceptable. What's the point of the treble and invincible season if we don't go out and buy quality? Yes, we signed a genuine class act in Ntcham and yes we brought Robert's back but still. We dropped points at the weekend. Gordon made a mistake - This means he is human?

    * sake man get a grip.

The money is there but there's no point in spending it just because we can. We've got to sign the right player.

I'm more than happy with Dembele, LG up top.

Midfield is overflowing with quality with Robert's and Sinclair out wide - Superb.

Defensive we're definitely short but that's due to an injury crisis and BR has tried to rectify that but the Rivaldo guy failed his medical. I'm sure we'll see some movement in that area soon.

I honestly don't know how anyone can be anything but buzzing and positive.
