Have to feel for poor Xabi Alonso, remember him wishing he'd get to Parkhead for CL with Real and then likewise with Bayern.

Retires and next season we get Bayern, lol

yeah...Alonos is class...as is Xavi, Iniesta ,messi and buffon......They all speak the truth about it being the best atmosphere in the CL by a distance......If only the english would show us that respect as well, yeah we aint got the World class players, but that doesnt stop us having a go,especially with the funds.

Not exactly a sustainable way of running a football club is it.

And when you run out of sellable assets, it as I said is not a sustainable way of running our club. We were once told we do not account for European football income.

Agreed, was thinking the same thing. Aye their attack is more glamorous but their defence is weak. We can bet them at home.

Dendoncker must be off, unless injured. Didn't even make bench for Anderlecht today.

Hopefully he's away. Be a big boost for us if he is.

They bus kids in from all over the country for free to their games on a weekly basis.

Which in itself is actually a good concept but it proves how much they lack a base of support.

Just our luck. That PSG team will horse us, as well as Bayern.

Good. He could easily have a second season syndrom at that age and be playing * with 160m price tag on his head. Makes them weaker imo. Exploit his wing and were in for a shout.

I went to the Etihad for the first time about 4 years ago in the Champioms League against CSKA, I seem to remember the ticket was 20 quid, brilliant view and even then was about thre quarter full at best and that was before they extended it, they would have been better off staying at Maine Road, at least it was a good atmosphere there and a proper football stadium

Just checked the betting odds for our 1st game. We are 10/1 to win at home to PSG. That to me is madness. Anything can happen at Parkhead.
