Exactly, bring Paddy in and we are much stronger than last season. We aren't in need of a rebuild, just need to add some quality.

A centre half is a must and id sign a right back. Lustig isnt good enough at that level. * knows what he was doing at the 4th and then right after that they had a chance and lustig runs out and dives on the deck and im shaking my head wondering what hes doing. Middle to front were decent but we need in my opinion a centre back a right back and a decent goalkeeper.

I disagree, Lustig is good enough.

hes too slow and cant recover if a team break on us. He might have been a better option in the centre last night and Gordon just makes me * myself anytime the ball is at his feet. We need better at champions league level and a top CB to play with jozo.

He was good last week v Astana.

One bad game with non-defensively aware players beside him is forgettable for me.

Big Mika usually ups his game at the top level anyway.

I think we will only get one in after Rivaldo and Roberts is signed. Everyone is saying it will be a Striker but who knows but I do believe that if the right player becomes available and Rodgers likes the look of him then he might instigate something.

I'm a big fan of lustig and over the years he's been an unsung hero and Totally gets Celtic and been a great servant but a hate to agree a think due to injury over the years and over 30 now been found wanting in champions league and again last night .

i agree with the 2 playing beside him not helping but the football Rogers wants i think he'll be looking for someone similar to Tierney.

I totally get what your saying mate, but this is overall a relatively young team and there has to be that blend of raw talent, with steady experience.

    * like Lustig are vital, especially with the years of CL experience he has.

I think we need a young/new back up goalkeeper.
Gordon is doing the job at the moment, but hes 32 now and he had that bad injury. If he was to be injured weve only got De Vries then Youth.
Even then De Vries is 36 ish, thats not too old for a keeper but id prefer to have a keeper in the background for the future, any one heard if the youth are up to it?

watching him last night you wouldnt have thought he was experienced. Might have been down to the 2 beside him like i said but watch him close down the chance at 4-1 its * pathetic he shouldbe out charging that down not diving on the deck

I am happy with what we got now plus Paddy. We might see how will Ralston develop, we might need a RB next season if he is not ready. Maybe already start thinking about our next goalkeeper, albeit Gordon can give at least one or more two good years. Brown is aging as well but we have that position covered.

I can't see us managing to scout and spot good enough players in the next week so better have faith on what we got.

Bit off topic but reading our interim results there from earlier this year says we invested 9.5 million in the squad from the acquisitions of Sinclair, Dembele, Toure, Gamboa and de vries. We mustve paid more than we thought for Sinclair then ?

Toure came in a free transfer so this might mean they are including more than solely the transfer fees in that calculation

Think that £9.5m included very sizeable signing on fees for Toure and Dembele
