Xavi as back up for Rogic and I heard from close sources that Shaqiri is close to a deal worth 2m + Sviatchenko. On a serious note, I think Gamboa might be away since he was on the bench yesterday and Ralston came on. Unless he just wanted Ralston to get some European game time, as we were in a somewhat comfortable position (I think it was 5-2 aggregate at the time).

 

Was 6-4 on aggregate when he came on

 

I think we will sign:

Roberts
1st team CB
3rd striker on loan

To be honest I'd be happy with that.

 

I think we need it as well tbh. With the rivaldo guy coming in and possibly Erik leaving we're still short. And with doubts over Jozo (just rumours I know) another CB should be an option

 

I remember people saying lot eh * the Torino rumour last year blah, blah, blah and then he turns up there on deadline day and fails a medical!!!

 

Since then though he's been a regular in the team and been settled. Can't understand him wanting to join Burnley, EPL or not he is much better than Burnley

 

Just checked BBC and it was actually 6-3 so they need 4 when he came on, thank the lord we have Ntcham

Gamboa - he's * and Ralston is a much better option to have and bleed into the first team
Bitton - just because
Henderson - loaned out for a year as I don't imagine he'll be getting many first team oportunities
Ajer - Loan him out for another year to gain some more experience

 

all the ITK brigade have always said he has never really settled in Glasgow....

We've held off as long as possible on this. Rivaldo to be finalised really excites me, seems to have a huge amount of potential.

Then there's the rumours of another defender and another striker. If Simunovic has had his head turned and wants out, then I reckon another CB on top of Rivaldo is needed. Feel like Sviatchenko is 50/50 to stay or go.

And of course, Patrick Roberts. Of course another year on loan would be great, but we should go all out with the offers for a permanent. Can't be afraid to bid £10mil plus this time. Would be a statement signing as much as it would improve the team, which is immensely.

This Rivaldo and another centre half if anyone leaves at the back.

Paddy and a forward, possibly start the ground work for a new keeper for next season.

 

I think if and when Roberts comes in, we won't bother with a third striker unless moussa goes.

Still think we need a centre half on top of rivaldo.

 

problem with Moussa and Griffiths is they contstantly seem to pick up injuries/niggles.

Commons on Peter and Roughie last night said it, even with Roberts and Sinclair there playing wednesday/saturday or tuesday/sunday constantly over the next 4 months you need 3 strikers especially if those 2 keep picking up niggles!

Although I like the look of young Calvin Miller, would like another more experienced LB, who is a defender first and foremost..

If KT is injured I want a proven defender to cover for him in the CL.

Is Rivaldo a project or will he play/be on the bench from the word go?

 

Depends how good Coetzee is and judging by the videos, he's good on both feet.
Roberts comes in as the third striker/playmaker out wide.

We've a few injuries, but remembering Boyata, Dembele and Eboue also bring backbone to the side.

I'd go big on another centre half, but one who can also play midfield, similar size as Simunovic.
Simunovic was also missing yesterday.
