    * * man. They always put us through torture..

    A game we should've had wrapped up by half time and never losing which is disappointing for our unbeaten run..

    We're there and that's the main thing but that defence was absolutely pathetic tonight and should never be a centre half pairing in Europe, which thankfully it won't be. Not just the way we conceded but how they totally collapsed as soon as they were under a bit of pressure and that mob really could've easily scored at least 6 second half..

    Ntcham was a boss. What a player. Rogic is a miss when no playing. The central defence will be stronger. Griff needs to relax and stop trying to fully lace the ball sometimes. Forrest can do more when he's beat a man, waits too much and hopefully Paddy in shortly..

    Was never in doubt.

    Had this been a cupla year ago, we'd have probably been pumped about 9-0 off that Astana mob.

    Although, I'm glad they gave us a good game for 3 reasons:

    - we need a CL quality CB
    - this group needs the experience of being put to the test in that manner
    - shows that our 8-4 aggregate victory over them wasn't a fluke

    We had 64% possession and more shots than them. It didn't always feel like that. :giggle1:

    Had that guy took that chance instead of blazing it over the bar it could have been an extremely nervy last 15, but job done.

    Was never likely to be easy, they were always going to come flying at us at some point, but good to go away with the 3 goals.

    Armstrong and rogic were two great substitutions.

    The less said about that defending the better, that surely confirms to Brendan that a centre half to play next to jozo is needed, and Roberts' quality will help us.

    Looking forward to tommorow now.

    Great night for lots of reasons, of course we are through...
    but maybe more importantly Brendan can see the obvious problems with certain players and positions - getting beat like that could be a real blessing in disguise
