:shamrock:personally, i think naka hasn't performed well this season at all and is lost in the old firm matches.

i think we should throw caution to the wind and let mizuno show what he can do in the atmosphere of the old firm.

i have watched a couple of reserve games and he has been excellent. his vision, decision making, skill and pace are second to none and he knows when someone's going to throw their leg at him. he rides challenges very well. which would help him settle into this game.:shamrock:

naka, throwing mizuno in against the huns would be unfair on him, its too important to be making your debut in

Naka without question, set-pieces will be as crucial as they were on Sunday!

I'm gonna have to say no no no and no to this question. Throwing him on against mediocre SPL sides maybe at a push but the make or break game of the season? No!

They'll share responsibility which is good as there's now an element of competition involved but yeah Robson's on Sunday was spot on!

My head says no but my heart says why not give the boy the last half hour...who knows, he might just terrify the huns who by that time will more than likely be running on empty.

naka's corners have been mince. he rarely gets it over the first man. freekicks he is great. but he has not stood up and been counted for in any old firm match.

Agreed mate but it's more than a pity that someone like Nakamura knows no matter how * he is he won't be dropped...no-one's fighting for his place. Hopefully though next season we'll see more of Mizuno and Nakamura might start getting the finger out and not just shine 1 game in every handful. We said prior to the last Huns game how much he needed to stand up and show himself and he still done * all, so my hopes aint high this time. The Huns know he's weak and will exploit that fact.

Nakamura of course. Would be an absolute suicide mission from Strachan if he started with Mizuno.

I'd start Naka wide but give him freedom to move about. He cant drop off and pick the ball up deep, that just allows the huns to push up and close the game. Need him getting the ball in behind their midfield and Skippy and JVOH looking to be threaded through.

What has koki done to merit getting a game in one of our biggest fixtures? Many people can perform well in the reserves. And as i have said if he was thrown in and played poor or even mediocre he would get slaughtered by the press, which could have a bad affect on the rest of his 'Tic carear

i don't see why it would be suicide since naka has always reported missing in these games. if mizuno started we would be playing with 11 men, not the 10 when nakas on the field.

but of course, starchan will always play his beloved naka no matter if we had kaka pushing for his place.

Its not that i am defending Naka, quite the opposite he has been useless this season and the only reason he plays is because he can change a game with 1 kick of the ball, its just that i don't think Koki is reasy

Is anyone actually seen Koki play?. Nakamura should and will play, would be stupid to throw Koki in for his debut in such an important game..against Rangers.
