Sign or * off is going in a huff. Sometimes * like this takes time. Took us 9 months of contract talks to sign Dembele.

Do you think he's been a detriment to the team? I reckon he's done not too bad. One of our top goalscorers so far again this season, know it's early doors but I like guys that get amongst the goals.

Personally think he was * immense during the week there.

I'm with you mate. A lot of the same posters giving him * are the ones that didn't rate him in the first place. Stu is a * midfield general and to sign a player like for like. Well we couldn't afford to. I'd put him in the high earners bracket. He is that good.

I think we'd struggle to replace his goal threat from midfield, you do everything you can to keep that in your team.

So if he isn't keen on signing, we just to let him leave on a free?

He's been fine, other than last night. He was * awful when he came on and his error led to the Bitton penalty incident.

We all like goalscorers. Like I said, everyone would rather he stays because for me he'd be in the starting XI just about every single game.

But the contract talks have dragged and dragged. There's two weeks left in the transfer window. If he isn;t all that bothered about signing a new contract then sell him if we get a good offer.

He reads the game like Ledley only with more vision ahead and goals.

Stats wise, how many goals that he's scored have been important? Did his 18 goals come on games we thrashed opponents or 18 during 18 close games of 1-1 etc securing us points?

That's the stats that matter so it'd be interesting to see. Maybe his goals not being there would not have made a difference at all.

You don't think Rodgers and the board haven't?

I'm sure Rodgers is well aware of how big a player he is.

On here there was rumours ages ago how he never liked the attention you get from playing for Celtic. Possibly true and the reason why he's leaving.

If you don't know the stats off hand, it defeats the purpose of your statement to use his stats against him. :39:

Should have added "on the other hand we could be * without them" but my bias of any player who doesn't want to sign should be punted shone through :56:

I think they're negotiating. So yes, I don't think it's quite got to that stage that we have nothing to offer him.

Pretty sure he was a major player in an invincible treble winning season mate.

Talk in the papers £3m. I'd rather have him for another season.
