The rate he is playing I think he could be up for a player of the year award.

Really glad we didn't sell him.

Hope Aberdeen progress to the group stages of Europa that will only help his development

In one hand I wish we had him back for these qualifiers on the other I know we will be getting a far better player this time next year when he has a full seaskn being the main man at aberdeen.

Would he have gotten a game if he was still here who knows, he is looking sharp at Aberdeen and picking up where he left off at the end of his loan there last season.

This guy is clearly a very good player and Celtic need to keep him because he has the potential to be a far better player than Armstrong. Far more creativity and natural ability than Armstrong. Could have done with him on Wednesday night against Rosenberg, he has it in him to create something out of nothing. We looked like we could have played all night and still not scored against Rosenberg, serious lack of creativity when Rogic is off form and especially with Paddy Roberts now gone.

His contract with us is up in 2019, we signed him on a 4 year year deal.

So he comes back to us in 2018 with a year left on his contract. We need to get that sorted before he comes back.

Yeah that would make plenty sense.

Let him rot in the stand rather than see what he can actually do with a season full of first team football in Europe and at the top of the league.

We defo should have kept him when you think about it logically.

Let the lad enjoy his season with a decent club. The bonus is we get a player back buzzing to make it here. His old bhoy Charlie will have him wired off about the pitfalls.

It's good to see him doing well at Aberdeen, excellent for his development.

Agree, would love him in the squad but being at Aberdeen gives him much more game time than we could give him.

He wouldn't get a game ahead of Rogic and signing Benyu would only further limit his game time.

Hopefully when he comes back next summer he can challenge or possibly overtak Rogic as our AM.

The comments as playing him as an attacking midfielder at RM/RW has a good point, he does have some useful attributes in this position but his pace is lacking.

Sometimes I think we just need a rapid winger to just run past players as opposed to taking them on.

Hope Aberdeen and Ryan have a good season

Heres hoping he develops even further, every time I see him he impresses, heres hoping that continues.

As said maybe a replacement for SA if he goes, he's a bit less work rate but creative and getting forward looks well impressive.

Christie would be the ideal replacement for Roberts on the RW. Unlike Forrest he would give 100% commitment and real creativity, and a potent goal threat.
