Not sure about this one, I have family in shepards bush who are qpt daft so have been dragged to Loftus road a few times during the years. Saw him partner Rio Ferdinando a few years back when they were in the prem and he was absolutely atrocious. Last time I saw him play was when he was on loan at Liverpool on sky I think they were away at Southampton in the league cup, they list 4-0 and as far as I can remember he was at fault for all 4 goals.

Could be when he was at a low point in his life who knows but Rodgers could help him and hopefully bring the best out in him , I'd say it's worth a punt , not much of a risk involved and could prove a great signing

If Brendan wants him and Caulker wants to come here it'll happen 100%

We definitely need a CB his style. Someone dominant as * in the air.

Erik really struggles against physical players.

For a CB Erik goes down far too easily as well any contact he seems to hit the deck

I have a bit of a soft spot for Spurs so I watch them a lot and when he first came into the first team he looked really good with bags of potential.

At the time he wasn't good enough to be their first choice CB so he went on loan to Swansea, where he was very good.

He then signed with Cardiff for one season. During this year they had 4 different mangers and changed their badge as well as the colour of their jerseys all because of their crazy owner Vincent Tan.

He got off one sinking ship but jumped straight onto another in QPR. He hasn't played much in the last two years due to off the pitch issues.

If hes at a successful club with support coming from players, management and fans it could bring out the best in him. Obviously there is a bit of risk but given the fact he only has one year left on his contract, has off field issues and if it's true that QPR just want rid off him then he shouldn't cost that much.

BR already said no move at this stage.

    Maybe crimbo.

But we sorely need a cb who can take on physical players.

I'm all for giving Ajer a chance but the possibility of the Caulker that played under Rodgers at Swansea is a no brainer

We should have had a centre back lined up for before Boyata even got injured. This is definitely the weakest part of Brendan's management. I know it's not an issue domestically, I'm talking about Europe. Guys like Ferguson, Mourinho, Conte all know that to be successful you need warriors. It's nice to be all romantic, you need to be pragmatic also, and streetwise. You need guys that will bully the other teams strikers. All our defenders are too soft except Teirney and Siminovic, and like everyone knows, Jozo is still a baby at 22, and according to Rodgers is still being managed through games because of this knee injury, that he might have for life supposedly. Ajer isn't the answer either, he's pretty slow, we play a high line so he's never ready to play in a back 4. We had fecking Biton playing in there today. We could also get a suspension in defence during these qualifiers. Lustig was up to his usual during the week to, slicing the ball from 4 yards in front of goal and giving them an easy chance. Sviatchenko was poor, and I noticed Gamboa's out for months now. Ralston must be injured as well because Mark Hill who's a midfielder played there today.

We've conceded more than 50 goals in Europe in the last couple of years. It was 5 going on 8 or 9 against Molde, with pretty much the same players as we have now. Surely to * it's obvious that the defence has needed strengthened for a long long time.

Aye have had my doubts over Erik for a while now, the game at home to Partick when they got a draw he was absolutely honking.

If he was to come in tomorrow he would be several weeks behind in fitness not even mentioning match fitness.
