Not at all. However, when it's phrased as fact, multiple times too, it gets tiresome.

Me saying "I just know" does not indicate I actually know for a fact but you know this...

 

Would've preferred him to stay with Croatia for selfish reason's. Think Croatia is a more attractive side to most and breaking in to that side would've been better for us..

 

He is obviously more croatian than bosnian. Even the bosnians of croatian "ethnicity" (this is not the place to teach history but much of the different "languages" and "nations" of ioguslavia are totally made up. You have people who are christian, muslim and orthodox and they are divided into bosniak, croat or serb based on that. Then aberrations like Montenegro and Macedonia were added. When Bosnia was created, croats and serbs in that territory that have more loyalty to the forementioned countries were specifically forbidden from ever campaigning to leave Bosnia and join those) consider themselves croatian. Just check Siroki Brjieg's badge, for a start. The lines between nationalities there are very blurry because most of this * was artificially made.

The thing is there is a ridiculous prejudice against the players from our team. I remember how Virgil Van Dyk was ignored by the dutch national team during all his stint at celtic, and got his first call up and started a game the week after signing for Southampton, even without playing a game for them, as if his ability improved a lot just by signing a contract.

He could be perfectly better than the other croatian defenders but ignored by the coach because the coach is an *.

If you want to be really selfish you should want him to choose Bosnia. This way he will get called up no matter what and have one less reason to want to ever leave us, while the croatian coach will only call him up when he is sold to an EPL team.
