    First things first.

There are no "tin pot" clubs. There are big clubs and smaller ones but every club makes its own supporters proud. Only the English fans resort to such derogatory remarks and as the * of many an English fans' insults we shouldn't ape them.

Secondly, are you a new or young Celtic fan? If so, I'll understand why you may possibly think that Lincoln is the only time in our history where we have been humiliated by a side we were expected to thrash.

We all want us to thrash Linfield - like we want us to thrash every opponent we face - but our away record in the Champions League - including qualifiers - combined with the fact that it's a "local derby" against a team whose fans hate us with a passion and whose players will - to a man - put in career best performances means that the mass predicted big away win may not happen.

I said we'll put 6 past them at home, but away will be a whole different story.

Sorry if I offended you for calling Linfield tinpot!! I don't understand how my age comes into it... We should(and will) beat comfortably beat Linfield in both legs

You didn't offend me but it is a modern trait to be insulting and derogatory about other clubs and something I wish to see an end to.

As for your age, of course it is a factor.

We SHOULD beat Linfield comfortably on paper but football is played on grass and as I said, a draw at Windsor Park (and please note that I said I think we'd probably win 2-1) would be far from being the worse result in our history. If you're old enough to have lived through a number of these "shocks" you should know this.

I'm 25 so I've witnessed Artmedia/Sion/Legia/Malmo etc - all much better sides than Linfield! I don't think I'm wrong for thinking we'll take a few off them in Belfast!

The only result amongst those 4 which would get anywhere near the top 5-10 worse results in our history is the away 5-0 defeat to Artmedia.

As I said, age is a factor.

Out of interest, what would you say our worst results in Europe are?

London Dub, I think you are right to urge caution, I hate seeing over confidence in these type of games. In saying that though, I do believe we will see a professional 2-0 to the good guys

Absolutely nothing wrong with confidence going into this kind of game.

I'm not seeing 'over' confidence as such in here. Just realistic enough expectations from fans.

Rodgers will ensure the players are focused.

I think we'll concede a late goal and win 2-1 but it will be a professional performance.

I hope I'm proved to be over cautious. I honestly do.

    :43: Come again?

To put it more simply; I will be there. I hope to blend in and sit amongst your average Belfast punters who probably support Man Utd/L'pool/Arsenal/Chelsea. As football fans they will have purchased a ticket online to see the famous Glasgow Celtic in their backyard.

I do not want to be singled out, removed from the north stand and segregated in the west stand with other Celtic fans, making us sitting ducks for any abuse/attacks as we go to leave the stadium at FT.

It's a superb trait to be insulting and derogatory about Linfield in my book.

So is the west stand going to be for Celtic fans that are caught out then!?

That's the narrative in the papers in the O6

"A Linfield source said it was inevitable Celtic fans would get into the stadium.

He said plans have already been drawn up for how to respond.

"Should Celtic fans get into the ground, they will not be removed, they will be put into the west stand," the source said."

I can't really believe I'm saying this really, but fair play to Linfield there then. Essentially letting Celtic fans watch the game even though our own club doesn't want us to.
