    Im not sure mate I think Rodgers favourite tactic is 3 in the middle with one sitting (Brown) and two either side almost pivoting (Armstrong and Palasic). Im pretty sure ive seen an interview of his time at liverpool saying that was his favourite tactic.

    That was my thinking as well, up until he started saying he wants another number 10. Suppose the shape and set up could change from domestic football to European football.

    Brown with two box to box players would maybe be better suited for the CL.

    Didn't Rodgers say he see's Rogic more as a box to box rather than a pure number 10? Probably why he wants one for when he changes the formation.

    I dunno what I think of 3 at the back, or even Lustig in a three. He's never been quick but he seems to be getting slower, if someone turns him he has very little hope fo recovering and that then drags one of the other two out of position or at least puts them in a very awkward position.
