    They definitely looked sharper than us, but nothing to worry about. Strip looking great, the stream i was watching was a bit blurry, so sometimes couldnt make out the badge and NB logo, looked amazing. I thought it didn't have them when i switched it on.

    I think the general idea of the gold badge in the white hoop could well be designed to give the effect that it is not there/easily spotted on TV. To make the shirt appear more retro, more like the original 67 shirt, unbranded. Same with the NB logo and the sponsor. If that makes sense

    I watched the game in Amstetten and just returned back home to Vienna. I thought how best to describe it, but I found a report at Celtic's website which is really good. The author did a superb job.

    I couldn't have written it better...

    In my opinion the draw was justified. Rapid were better in the first half, Celtic in the second half. It was very hot, even between 17.00 and 19.00hours local time.

    My only criticism is about the new 2017/18 shirts. Unless you are totally familiar with all players it is awfully difficult to recognise the yellow/golden numbers on green/white shirts. Makes players' identification very difficult.

    Loved every minute though!!! I must have had the same view as viewers of Celtic TV, the guy was about 3 meters from me with his camera.

    Since it was revealed I have thought this was the case. The 40th anniversary shirt had gold trim round the crest but the crest was usual colours and was on the white hoop as well.

    Personally id say that was a pen and an incident which yet again raises questions about gordon as our number 1. I really worry in the big games with him in goal

    No way...their behaviour that nIght was vile!!

    I also seem to remember at that time a lot of sentiment towards pulling out the competition.....I was young and didn't want this but some did to * UEFA over yet another scandalous decision. Easier said than done I know......a team from a bigger country...wouldn't have happened.
