    This league is gash.

I know it gets said a lot but it genuinely is. The past week of games, cant have been many more than 20 goals scored.

I know. It's just so in your face and easily accessible. I watch other European leagues whenever I can and the quality of games and excitement are so much better. No wonder no English team is doing anything in Europe. (alright you've got Yoonited in the EL but given their squad and what they've spent it's a bit of a riddy if they don't win it!)

Oxlade-Chamberlain with his highest goal return in a single season for Arsenal - a whopping 6 goals.

    Abysmal.

I've always thought he was decent whenever I've seen him play :giggle1:

  6. It's as bad as its ever been I think in my time. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd have half a team each. Spurs and Chelsea have more rounded and balanced teams but they're not great sides either, you'd fancy teams like Monaco, Dortmund, Napoli and Sevilla against them.

He's the perfect example of a bang average player who was overrated by the media down there. For a winger, his goal return is terrible.

  8. He'd be good for us probably, hes decent on the ball, decent work rate, not bad pace but should probably be playing for Southampton, West Ham or a team like that.

He actually seems to start most games for Arsenal as well now despite him not really doing anything.

Aye it was his workrate and skill on the ball which always stood out to me. Wasn't aware how pish his goal return is though.

Literally just said that to my da.

Apart from De Gea there isn't one player on either side who you'd say would walk into a top team in Europe. Sanchez and Ozil the closest but I wouldn't say they'd walk in.

The amount of money United have wasted in recent years on players in the wrong positions is incredible.

There's not one outstanding team in the entire league. Football in general at the moment is in a bit of a pish state IMO. Most leagues are very predictable for the most part and the CL is the same.

Only games I will watch religiously now are ours (obviously) but I wont go out my way to watch many others. Few year back I would have.

A like him but can see what the original comment (canny multi quote) is getting at.

Aye, there doesnt seem to be much great talent emerging either.

The game is in need of a lot more players you want to watch teams to see Ronaldo, Xavi, Messi, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Iniesta, Kaka, Henry, Shevchenko or defensive players Vieira, Keane, Cafu, Carlos, Maldini, Nesta, Dani Alves when at his best.

The only player playing today you want to watch is Messi but there seemed to be a lot more 10 years ago. Missing big personalities, flair players and players with unreal skill and class.

The whole best league in the world thing is a myth, none of the top players in the world play there.
Sanchez is a cracking player I think, ozil can be but is the epitome of a luxury player for me.
