  1. This is pretty much it for me.

Whoever Rodgers goes for I ain't gonna write off. I was sceptical of Sinclair and look what happened there.

The guy has made Boyata look like VVD in recent weeks ffs.

  2. Rodgers is here for the long haul, so he has every right to be going for guys like McGinn who he can mould into a fine player over the next one or two years.

Cheap enough, young enough and hungry enough for success.

    Get him signed Brendan!

  3. Not sure hes good enough

  4. Thats what I thought about Armstrong and Forrest just before BR took them under his wing

  5. For me as an SPFL player yes without a shadow of a doubt i would take him but only if we have a large clearout this summer of players from the midfield then aye for me you need 10 midfielders in a club like celtic we play over 60 domestic and european matches per season.

I think the midfielders who leave in the summer will be; Bitton, Commons, GMS, Henderson, allan and Roberts will all be away.

So that leaves; Brown, Sinclair, Armstrong, Rogic, McGregor, Forrest, Kouassi and Christie, so allowing for another 2 CM to come in one a mid and one a wide man for me but i would rather someone of pure quality brendan says he wants 2-4 qualuty players for me McGinn doesnt fit that profile, unless Stretch isnt going to sign a new deal and be punted in summer!!! Ye never know!

  6. Brendan says he's after a couple of high-quality game-changers in the summer so can't see how McGinn comes into that category. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player and a good lad but we already have a strong enough squad for domestic matters and he wouldn't improve us for Europe.

  7. He wants two blue chip signings, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want another one or two players on top of that.

  8. But like i say our squad is already good enough for Scotland. Do we really need him?

  9. He has spent a couple of years away from the top flight now and I think we will add 1 player better than what we have to the midfield and have a strong 4or 5 already there. I dont think he would get the game time Armstrong got to develop.

  10. We don't need him, but if Rodgers sees potential in him then I trust him.

McGinn always gave Brown a good game when he played for St Mirren.

  11. I'd take him in a heartbeat

  12. Good player, just not sure in the point of bringing him in especially if rumours are true that it will be around £1.5mil

  13. McGinn has dig, industry and energy. A younger version of Scott Brown.

  14. As a long term replacement for Broony I would take him. Buy for £1m and loan to Hibs or a championship/league one team in England. He needs to play week in week out, and who knows, after a couple of years Brendan could turn him into a top player!

  15. 1m would be a steal. Great, wee player. Would loan him out to Hibs next season if we did buy him...

    My position, too.

  17. Should be aiming higher , quality not quantity

  18. I like the idea of buying him, and loaning him away for a season or two to continue to grow. But the tricky thing is that you don't want him gone for too long, otherwise his opportunity with Celtic fades away.

  19. We should buy him and loan him back, 100%.
