He's been pish in the last two games against the huns.

 

* sake man, last few threads I've been in our players are getting called poor. Could have sworn we * strolled it today.

 

He was our weakest link by far for me..

Wasnt his best game by far, but he had 3 men on him at all times and did well enough I reckon.

Probably one of his worst games for us.

They have identified him as a danger and therefore they mark him tightly, I understand that and I understand that it can be frustrating. But it wasn't just that. His passing was awful today, it was either a poor choice, or it was underhit or overhit. Just very poor all around.

Been covered by P O'Neill but more the manner of his display. 1 on 1 that pish right back who cannot defend, had him on toast..

 

I'm cringing reading that. Tav. Sure I saw Wes or Fod earlier as well..

He was poor today in fairness but he has been sensational so far this season so we'll let him off! He'll be out to prove himself next week!

 

He's one of our danger men, keep him quiet and that makes their job that little bit easier. We got so much space today because they were trying to keep Roberts, Dembele and Sinclair doing their thing.

Given the cirucumstances and the result, can't really be too harsh on him.

I've no doubt he'll be back next week terrorising them..

 

The huns are often 3 on 1 against him it's tough for him too get any space

 

I don't think we had a weak link mate and I always knew he'd step up in that big moment and put away the penalty.

He has done all season.

 

It's no something I've ever said about him here but today I felt he let Tavernier get the better of him in both directions. Strength wise. Pace wise and definitely in the tackle rattled Sinclair..

I actually think Paddy deserved to stay on over Sinclair and Shooders should've been on for him instead..

Fair play to him for the pen though. I actually thought he'd miss because of the game he was having..

Don't like being too critical on a good day but he did bug me. Didn't think he wanted it as much as the rest of our team today..

He'll be back next week though. It's not a concern long term, just an annoyance today..

 

I thought Tavernier was only able to get forward on one or two occasions and he kept him pinned back, he was taking up clever positions as he usually does and was tireless in closing down.

Each to their own mate, he wasn't at his imperious best but I thought he, like everybody else, done their job to make us absolutely stroll that game.

 

Maybe folk canny be arsed trying to spell their stupid names.
