If we where 6 points behind with 4 games to play and no old firm games then i would say that mate.

When we went to seville rangers came from no where, because of all those extra games, if they where playing * hot football then i would say that, but fact is they have been grinding out results as well.

there are 10 league games that rangers still have to play, they are unbeaten in the previous 20, do the math.

I just hope tonight's result won't result in some dropped heads in the team. They need to believe that they can win the title. Like it was said before, we we're in exactly the same position the Huns are in now in 2003, we were gunning for 4 trophies, we were expected to win at least 2 and we came away with * all. I'm not optomistic (in fact I'm praying Werder Bremen's defenders and midfielders kick the living * out of the Huns in the next leg), but I know stranger things have happened, and I think we all need to believe until it's mathematically impossible.
    Heids up.
    Hail Hail!

It usually takes about 50 to 60 posts for me to make my mind up if that person is a fud. Congratulations! You did it for me in just 14.

It's not over yet, lads. Big set back but the team will play like it's the Champions league when we entertain the currants. Confidence will help these players so all the boys who go to the games: cheer and sing your hearts out for 3 in a row.

    We can do it

If Rangers win, its got a lot more to do with them winning than us losing. They have one 11?? in a row. That is just incredible. We have (I think) won 9 and drawn one in our last 10. That is also an incredible run. This kind of reminds me of Burns last years where we had a great record but Rangers have simply been even better (results not performances).

There is still plenty of hope but IMO its not all about the OF matches. My hope is that they simply cant keep winning every game. Surely that would be some kind of record if they won all the non-OF games till the end of the season?? If they do that then we would just have to be philosophical and say they deserved it. There would be no denying it. They are poor to watch, play very negative football but they get results.

Anyway, all we need is Rangers to lose one or draw a couple of non-OF SPL games and we be right in their again. They must stumble at some point but we must win every game now. If that happens then something like 2 draws and a win in the OF games (which I think is likely) might be enough. The key is that they must stumble. If they dont they deserve the title.

As for those who are calling for WGS's head etc, I think we have been a far better team since Xmas and the damage was done before that when we were without key players (Artur, all our RBs, Naylor, Naka and JVOH). IMO, injury did the damage. The post-Xmas team is a lot better and criticising it is missing the point. It may not be our year but it never has been for 3-in-a-row since Big Jock so why the big surprise?? Its over 30 years ago since we have had more than 3-in-a-row or more so for those much under 40 whats the big shock.

I think we can still do it as long as Rangers dont continue this run and set some kind of record.

I hate to say it but our season could effectively be over by next Tuesday. We need nothing but a win against The Well, (instead of putting pressure on the Gers we put it on ourselves), to beat Aberdeen.
To throw away the league before playing the Hun twice is shocking. Its the second time this season we had a chance to put points on the board with them not playing, we blew it big time earlier in the seaon and we are in danger of doing it again this week.

I truely hope my fears do not happen, as it will be a very long summer.

Can you see the Huns not beating that D.Utd team at the weekend

p.s. I wait for the * Jockies sto late this post as usual.

Mr * Jockey here. In football anything is possible. Much as I don't think the Arabs will beat the Hun there is a possibility. The one thing I believe is that Rangers WILL drop points on the run in, most of them against us.

I think they are having it too good at the moment and are due for a fall.
I don't think the title race is over because of one game we did not lose.
Strachan is not daft. He and the players know what they need to do and last night will be a one off IMO.

The pressure is on Rangers to win their game in hand and they know they must beat us to cut them some slack. They will have a tough run in to the end of the season and we will be with them all the way. They only need to lose one and draw one and we are right on top of them again.

Keep the faith. It's not over til the fat lady sings.

The problem is Dundee played defensively. Rangers won't, and we will be in position to beat them. We can still win this!
