Maybe overly cautious but I'll go for a 2-1. Won't pick a team as I'm tired of trying to second guess Strachan.

No question that we have the ability to totally outplay the arabs but we've blown hot and cold for so long now I can't take anything for granted and I'm nervous as * about the OF games and the run in overall. We need motivation in the first 11 and we're not gettign it from Mick or anyone in the centre of the park. Far too much indecision and too many people hiding when they should be making themselves known.

Now's the time for the bhoys to be men. I'd definetely start Hartley and I'm leaning towards Sno as the lad is more physical than Brown and less prone to running around like a headless chicken. Samaras hopefully will get a start and I'd like to see JVOH rested, even though he got that goal at the sheep pen. Skippy would pose them more probs I think.

    Boruc
    Hinkel - Caldwell - McManus - O'Dea
    Nakamura - Brown - Sno - McGeady
    Samaras - VoH

I would bet for a 2-0 victory aswell.

    3/2-0,
No need to drop skippy as he will always be a goal threat

This could be a real cracker of a performance from the boys.. Not sure if others agree but I think the fans could turn it into a Tommy Burns appreciation night.. Would be fitting when (you have to believe we're going to score) the first goal goes in that the scorer runs over to Tommy and embraces the man.. Maybe Im just feeling sentimental but would be a great gesture..

I agree with this one, maybe starting with Sno then subbing on Robson not too late on. and Naylor instead of O'Dea

Donati in because we have played 4 home SPL games since Christmas and he has been excellent in every one.
Samaras in for McDonald to give McDonald resting time ahead of a very tough shift at Fir Park on Saturday.

    Is Balde fit yet?

With the Ibrox game coming up you'd have to believe Strachan will put a team out on the pitch (either tonight , or at the weekend) that he'd want to play against the buns.. And that team shouldn't include Donati or Naka from the start.. We could probably beat Dundee Utd with either or both in the starting line-up tonight but I don't think it serves any real purpose playing either of them..

Huns game isn't until the 29th and is at Ibrox?

Robson and Brown in the middle Naka and McGeady on the wings, that on paper is our strongest midfield imo and if it works against United should be used more often than not in the run in!

Yeah 29th at Ibrox , we have 3 league games and the cup replay before then (Motherwell game dependent on state of pitch)

I'd rather see Robson take Naka's place and Hartley go in the middle..

Is this how people see it now ?

One team (lightweight) for Parkhead and a battling team for games like Ibrox ?

would agree with that team for this game, with the obvious exception of odea for that plug caldwell, but that will never happen, and as much as i would like to see sammy start it wont happen, because strachan is a *

There has to be at least a wee bit of horses for courses although i do agree with you, you can't just say Naka's lightweight and don't play him against Rangers as that's not the way it works.

I'm wanting to see Robson given 5 or 6 games he's an spl goalscorer and he's now playing in a far better team, his goals could be vital!

I'd love to see that pre-match team talk:

Strachan: 'Sammy your on the bench son'
    Sammy: 'Why Gaffer?'
Strachan: 'Because i'm a *, deal with it'

Would also like to see Samaras start.. Hard to judge from 4 or 5 bit part performances but he does like to take the ball past players and his link up play with JVOH was excellent at Pittodrie.. Samaras and Mcdonald for me.. If nothing else it gives JVOH a rest..

That's what I've been waiting to see. I think as soon as we play him in Naka's place with Hartley instead of Donati it will all click into place and people will say it's a good balanced midfield.. I don't want Naka starting any more league games for the remainder of this season.. As far as Im concerned he's a "Plan B" player..
