Jesus Christ this is absolutely horrific.

Atletico Nacional Medellin have requested that the Copa Sudamericana be awarded to Chapecoense. A very kind gesture.

What will happen to their team now, if they were to get a big insurance pay out to rebuild a squad would that not take years and how are they expected to play games or will they get a season off and not need to play a game as they rebuild a squad.

    Shocking thing to happen.

Seen suggestions from fans on Twitter to have Celtic sell Chapecoense jerseys and send the money to them. I'd absolutely buy one.

I think they should still play a final to settle it, not really the now but could be in a couple of months, let their youth teams play each other in a one off game and the fans can still treat it like the final.

Could be a Charity kind of game where it gets televised worldwide and fans can text to donate money to the club.

Can't say i'd buy a top to be honest.

Any sort of crowdfunding I would give some money though.

Friends and family aside, can't fathom what it would be like to be one of their fans right now. Must be proper weird.
