Too eager to impress, and remind people who his parent club were?

There's a massive gap between being the playmaker at Hibs, and being a fringe player at Celtic. He is proof of that.

I've said that countless time's about him..

Seems a different player, and not sure I like it..

Don't think he was particularly good at all today..

    Really?

I have heard about numerous people who have known him personally through school and just in general and they say he is a complete Billy Big Baws and a bit of a * with a massive ego.

Not sure how accurate that is but seems to be the consensus about him. Personally I couldn't give a * about that side of things anyway and only what he does on the park for us. From watching him today Bitton is under no pressure for his position as he's a far higher class and quality.

I said on the surface of it. Because if you didn't know him personally and went off the interviews he's given for Celtic TV, you wouldn't suspect he was that kind of person. I didn't anyway.

Said it in the Armstrong thread that Stuart and Liam both looked like they weren't at the same level as the others.

    Not a fan of them.

I thought he done very well, great passing ability and reads the game well, covered across the middle making some great tackles and interceptions, what more could you want?

I actually rate the kid, absolutely cracking dead ball delivery, great passing, aggressive , great tactical awareness and the fact he's still only 20 and will only improve. Not to mention that absolutely sublime assist he gave John Guidetti to volley the ball into the netti v inter at paradise. If he stays on track and doesn't let it go to his head he could be great for Celtic imo.

I thought he did really well. Rarely seen him have a bad game.

Not enough to start on Wednesday but he could play a part at some point.

Thought he was solid, but nothing more. I'm not Bitton's biggest fan but his position isn't under threat from Henderson.

He's always been confident in his ability. He's pretty level headed though and appreciates where he is.

LIAM Henderson insists that he’s determined to establish himself as first-team player at Celtic after making his first start of the season in yesterday’s (Saturday) comfortable win over Motherwell.

Fresh from starring for Scotland Under-21s during the international break, the 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Hoops dispatched the Steelmen 2-0 in Paradise to cement their position at the top of the table.

The Celtic Youth Academy graduate spent a profitable 12 months on loan at Hibernian during the previous campaign, helping the Easter Road side to a historic Scottish Cup triumph in May.

But now his firm focus is making further inroads into Brendan Rodgers’ team, a challenge the midfielder is relishing.

He said: “I was delighted to play. I had been away with Scotland U21 and managed to play two games there as well, so when the manager told me I was starting I was feeling good, having played the two games away with Scotland.

“Before I went away with Scotland to make sure he told me to go and play properly and give it my all and that he was thinking about playing me against Motherwell. I went away with Scotland and put in a good shift, and it was good to go away and see the boys again.

“I came back into training and I was enjoying it, and then he named the team on Saturday and I was in it, so I was delighted.

“We have got a big quality squad and everyone is fighting for places," he continued. "It’s a great place to be. The fans are turning out, we are playing extremely attractive football and I’m working under a world-class manager, so for me, it’s second to none.

“When I came back, there were a lot of teams interested in taking me on loan but I spoke to the people close to me – my family, my friends, older boys who I have played with, and I spoke to the manager regularly.

“I have done my loans. I have been out on two loan spells and I like to think I’ve been pretty successful and I want to look back and have no regrets. I want to give it the best shot I can to try and be a Celtic player. I have no doubt in my mind that Celtic is definitely the best place for me.”

Forgot about the rosenburg loan. Did fairly well. Would need a few games in this setup before making a full judgment

The game moves too quickly for him at this level. He is technically sound but he gets caught wrong side of the ball or his man time after time. I don't think it is a fitness issue either. Wont make it here , certainly not suitable for a Brendan Rodgers team. Same for Armstrong.

Seriously? His first start of the season with a team he's not been involved with much and only 20, it takes game time and experience to improve. He never got caught out that much anyway, only once I remember when he got the yellow. People judging far too harshly on him after only one * game.

I thought he did well yesterday, would like to see him get a run of games in the middle of the park, people are to quick to write youngsters off, some were saying KT wouldn't make it when he first broke through, look how much he has come on with a run of games in the side, think Hendo is capable of making a similar impact, just my opinion.
