Naka Over Rated !!

He can be a great player through a game if he trys, but he isnt top form all the time.
he can produce moments of magic, a free, a splendid turn and cross, etc. but that is all he will ever contribute to the game though.
He will never track back as showed agaisnt barca when he and mcgeady swapped wings because puyol wasnt attacknig as much
He is very lgiht weight and will be pushed off the ball to much and does slack back passes.

 

how many games has naka been back for now

 

he's got his good qualities with playmaking abilities and making something out of nothing. just because he's not an well rounded winger like jinky or mcgeady doesn't make him a bad one. before mcgeady improved his final ball, ye would have said he's not half the player

 

hes only over rared if u give him a 7 instead of a 6 in the ratings

 

I said he is the most talented player Celtic has had since Larsson.

 

He has some fantastic talent mate. Unfortunately other areas of his game are utter garbage. When the other team have the ball we are a man down with him in the team. We can maybe get away with that in the SPL but against a decent side he is a liability. I also thought the way he was constantly throwing himself to the ground against Barca (i.e. cheating) was embarrassing and not what I want to see celtic players doing. For me he gave up on Wednesday night and I don't know if I can forgive that.

 

i'd rather he stayed at celtic. he's a dead ball specialist and who's going to pick passes out and hit corners and free kicks the way he does?? fair enough he had a bad game against barca but he's still good enough to turn a game around. if he wasnt there against united we wouldnt have won that game.

 

That was over two years ago. How much longer is he going to trade on that ?

Can we afford to carry a guy who is often a passenger just in case he delivers a great free kick ? What about his other duties ?

 

unfortunately we dont have the squad to leave naka out, i also think he still needs a run in the team to get his form back. he did go missing against barca and go to ground too easily for my liking but form is temporary class is permanent, and naka is class and until we sign someone better he'll always be one of the first names on the team sheet

 

I don't think he's over-rated at all, the guy can do things that most other players in our country can only dream about. I just think he suffers from stage fright at times, that is until he has a dead ball situation which to me isn't really good enough. Handy to have tho.

 

I think you are over rating his 'class' mate. He gave up on Wednesday and I find it interesting that so few fans are annoyed by that. I suspect his goals against Man U have bought him a 'get out of jail free' card.

He is class at some things but totally useless at too many others.

Naka had to hold the hand of Caddis through most of 60 minutes, watch it again and you'll see he doesn't trust him in defence and rightly so.

 

I couldn't disagree more. He left Caddis hanging out to dry.

 

bit unfair to say he's over rated. ffs he's no gash.
we're an spl team. look at all the goals he creates and tell me its gash.

 

Naka is a fine footballer.He had a very poor game against Barca and like others have said on here he was trying to back Caddis up instead of being able to concentrate on being on the front foot.I have never seen him pass the ball so poorly in any game. It is a shame he chose such a big ocasion to put in his worst performance.However as bad as he was against Barca he has been as good against so many others. I also dont believe he chucked it if people believe this then I think the same could be said of Mcgeady as he did nothing ofensively or defensively for the last 25 minutes.

Naka is one of the best players we have period.
