[Cross Platform] F1 2016

Anyone thinking of getting it? Just pre-purchased mine on steam, fair few things have been added since the last game.

 

Not played one in years. Didn't even know codemasters were still about.

Got it pre ordered for the ps4 though, looking forward to it.

Though last I played one I do remember it being an absolute * to get to grips with the handling.

Bought 2015 in the sale a few months back.. still not played a race

 

They changed the driving physics for 2015 and it was far superior to 2014, that game felt like the car was on ice and never had grip even when it should.

 

It's a good game albeit a light game in terms of content, they took out your usual career mode which was a disappointment. But this year has a lot of things that souns really good, probably the most complete F1 game codies have made so far by the looks of it

 

Yeah that's what annoyed me about it. Took away a lot of enjoyment for more casual players.

Do they still do the daft driver assist thing? Where they control your braking and even cornering?

There is braking assist but you can turn it off, there isn't any steering assist from what i can see playing the now

Like a challenge, just hope the learning curve isn't too steep.

Definitely getting it, career mode looks excellent.

 

Getting excited for it. Got a few games pre ordered and this one in very excited about. Specially doing a full career.

From what I've seen from all the videos posted by Codies and all F1 youtubers it looks the most complete F1 game to date which is excellent! Having a online season is top notch! Could get a TalkCeltic league :icon_mrgreen:

 

Arrived just now, going to give it a play see how it is

 

Enjoying it so far, career mode is so much better with all the added stuff.

 

Played it for about 3 hours today and it's great, just feels refined from the last game and works well! Game runs a bit weird in terms of FPS on PC but it'all get fixed with a patch but for the first day very well polished

 

Aye found a few flaws but they'll be patched quickly, the game is so smooth and looks great, last one I played was 2013 so this is a huge step up for me :icon_mrgreen:

 

Glad to hear guys. Still waiting on my copy, hopefully get it today and can get a little bit of time with it.

Arrived yesterday and had a couple of quick races. Really impressed so far, miles ahead of last year's effort.
