    As usual we will struggle to get anyone for the qualifiers. Fail to qualify and then panic buy some has-beens or never-will-bes on deadline day wasting money that should have been spent already.

    Any need for this thread when there is already a thread open regarding transfer concerns. We will sign more players soon, have to be patient. Decent players will be waiting on certain things, Champions league/Europa league football being one.

    We should be easily beating Red Imps with the squad we have! We should also get by Astana/Zalgiris also, all be it uncomfortably giving both there seasons are up and running, giving us Europa league football minimum. Further we go on the qualifiers players will be more interested.

    Of course we should.

    But we shouldn't take anything for granted with this squad. They have shown over the last year and beyond they don't live up to their billing.

    Anyone who is confident going into any knockout game with this squad (regardless of manager) is imho a fool.

    Astana will be very tough opponents. They did pretty well all things considered in Europe last season.

    If we don't get any new signings in for that I can't see us getting through. We are having to partner Erik with Efe Ambrose or an 18 year old centre mid who is having to play in defence.

    It's shambolic.
