im no sure how wgs gonna line up but if its 4-4-2 id imagine it to be-

    gk boruc
    rb caldwell
    rcb balde
    lcb mcmanus
    dmf hartley
    cm donati
    lmf mcgeady
    rmf nakamura
    cf skippy
    cf jvoh

but i have a feeling he'll go for the 4-5-1.

I'm going to the Parkhead game :D

My formation (im * at football manager mind you)

    ------------Boruc-----------
    Caldwel - O'Dea - Mick - Naylor
    ----------------------------
    -------Hartley---Donati------
    Naka-------------------McGeady
    ------------------------------
    -------Skippy---Venegoor-----

If we are leading with only 20-30 mins to go I'd swap to a 4-5-1 with Robson coming on for Venegoor and eventually swap Skippy for Samaras to inject pace and generally harass the defence.

My prediction: 1-0 to us with a defender scoring a header or something leaving a big task in Spain.

    Caddis--Caldwell--McManus--Naylor

    Hartley

    Nakamura--Donati--McGeady

    to the left a lHesselink

    McDonald

I have a feeling this will probably be the side that will play Barcelona on Wednesday, if Caddis dosnt play then i could see Caldwell at RB and O'Dea at CB, but if Hartley is put in there instead then Strachan is just asking for trouble if you ask me, only one change i would make to that team is have Robson in for Hesselink, as we all know he can score and we will have more mobility and pace as well as better ball control what Hesselink is lacking at the moment, but not only would this be an attacking formation but also defensive.

I'm buzzing. Biggest night at CP for a while IMO. A good result here and 50,000 Tims will go to Barca.

    I think he`ll go 4-5-1.

    -------------Boruc-------------
    Caddis-Caldwell-McManus-Naylor
    ------------Hartley-------------
    Naka-Donati-Robson-McGeady
    -------------JVOH--------------

Despite being young and new, Caddis is clearly better in the RB position than Caldwell would ever be. Can`t see Strachan taking Hartley out of the midfield.
He might go 4-4-2 with it being at Celtic Park but I think he`ll add the extra bit of bite in midfield with Robson. McGeady and Naka don`t give enough defensive help and you can`t afford to go gung-ho against Barca or they`ll tear you to shreds.
Naka and McGeady do however offer alot going forwards so we wouldn`t be lacking too much firepower.
I think as a solo striker Strachan would take JVOH over McDonald for physical presence.

    Naka Hartley Donati McGeady

    Skippy JVOH

It's a gamble with Caddis but he is a right back and I think we need Hartley in midfield .

This is how I'd play it as well. :50:

Id go with your lineup too martin. Just a bit worried about Caddis. But he has to be better than Caldwell at rightback and Hartley looked out of place at RB plus he needs to be in the midfield.

espn360.com is also carrying the match. I'm not sure whether you'll be able to watch it or not. It seems AT&T has some kind of rights, but I'm able to stream their videos. Anyway if you can watch it on there, the video quality should be much better than the normal p2p programs.

id like to see caddis there as martin said hes a natural right back and hartley a natural midfielder hartley holding midfield and donati pushing on would be better than hartley at right back

Why would it be torn apart? a year tomorrow we played on form AC Milan with 3 of those defenders and also holded them to a 0-0 draw at home, i rate Wilson the same level as Caldwell, but in saying this i prefer him as a CB not RB and i hope Strachan has a gamble and plays Caddis.

Give Caddis the stage. Remember David Marshall anyone?
