I wonder how many score better than 10% on free kicks in any league - probably not many! Most defenders are shitscared of Ronaldo - whether it's a free kick or running at them.

 

Ronaldo is getting a hard time on here.. If he wasn't in a poll against the king of kings he'd be in with a shout against any other current player (Except for Aiden obviously)..

I have some sympathy for him.. I read that he was brought up by an alcoholic father and by the time he was in his early teens he was the breadwinner for the family.. His dad died not long before the game with England in the World Cup in 2006 and when he scored the winning penalty (Big game pressure) he pointed to the sky to dedicate the goal to his old man.. He seems a more humble footballer now than when he was younger , still a tad arrogant though and still dropping to the deck when there's any contact..
I think he'd top a list of players in the English premiership that people would pay to watch..

I remember when Charlie Nic returned to Scotland with Aberdeen.. There were huns who wouldn't even give him credit when he was at Celtic Park but acknowledged he was a gifted player while he was at Pittodrie and a player they'd pay to watch..

Same thing is happening with Neil lennon.. Never have I heard so much praise for the guy from huns now that he's left the club..

It's hard to praise someone when you hate them I guess.

These are the stats of a young Attacking midfield player not a striker. Does this not sugest a player with an imense talent.?

How can you not rate him.?

I cannot stand Man. Utd. and Ronaldo's diving antics and gamesmanship have really * me off at times. However, he has matured both as a player and a person this year. He has to be given credit for what he is currently achieving.
