I only noticed Forrest was playing when like 30 minutes into the game. He had way too many chances already.

I'd keep Ciftci. Loan out to hibs till Xmas. Hes still young and gives us an option

If Rodgers keeps subjecting me to the sight of James Forrest, then I might reconsider myy feelings about him as manager.

Forrest looked totally disinterested and not like a player playing for his future.

Second half was much better, the front four combining much better than the team out there in the first half.

A lot of the younger players had heavy legs, Ralston looked to be struggling towards the end, but still didn't stop running.

Looks like Armstrong had a good game then.

 

I'll put a lot of that performance down to heavy legs due to double sessions every day, nerves due to trying to impress Brendan, playing in the heat which is pretty unbearable over there atm plus they've been training at a high altitude. Also consider the flight over there didn't go plain sailing having to get a bus to Slovenia from Croatia.

I'll just let this game slide by and let some players off.

 

Its the first pre-season game of the new year under a new manager and new tactics... Give them and this forum a break with the unnecessary slagging of everyone.

* are you on about ? I ain't slagging anyone and I'm getting rather tired of your snidey digs when half the time your spouting pish constantly like claiming Griff scored goals in English Championship and Scepovic knocked in 20 goals in La Liga.

There's loads on here who have been slaughtering players like Bitton, Forrest and Johansen tonight as examples, why don't you take your issues up with those posters? I'm simply giving the players some excuses after their performance for folk to lay off them more, read it right next time.

Well he did and Scep did it the Spanish second division(my mistake) as well as score goals in La Liga.

I'm just saying your certainly opinionated about specific players and your post made it seem like you were just giving the team a pass for what you thought was a * game when it really has no bearing on anything other than upping fitness.
