I remember Bobo getting the same treatment when he was playing regularly. Personally I think Caldwell had a good game and certainly not a nightmare. Yes he made a few mistakes and I am not saying he is a great player. He has been played out of position for a good while thanks to injuries and I don't think he is being given time to settle into and a fair chance to prove himself in a CB role. From what I have seen he has done well there.

We did win 5-1 but if by having a go at Caldwell gives the WGS threads a break then on you go.

So he had a good game despite making a few mistakes? And why would he need time to settle ffs. He was making the same sort of basic errors in his days at Hibs.

Nobody is claiming Bobo is a perfect replacement. He is not good enough either, but at least Bobo can do the basics.

And I thoroughly enjoyed the game today btw, but I thought Caldwell stuck out like a sore thumb because of his crapness.

kinda sums up all you have to say

do you support celtic Martin ?

i think your the type of 'fan' never happy and the first thing you offer is to criticize

not happy with a 5-1 win and pointing out slight defensive errors is a fukn joke

get lost man , fukn farcical .

Why is it so bad if somone wants the best for Celtic.?

I dont see Martin slating the team he is just being objective and shouldnt be castigted for his views.

Something you seem to do quite often.:38:

Using my scoring of Nightmare, Bad, Good or Great, overall I thought he had a good game. I will watch the highlights and review my scoring.

No Martin, just getting fed up with malcontents opening countless threads having a go at players and the manager. Some may be justified but we won 5-1 and we are sticking the boot in. I don't think the light shines out Caldwells * either but at the same time I am willing to give him more time before I join in.

The only criticism I have made today is of Hinkel and Caldwell. Everyone else seems to think they were poor too. Show me any other critcisms I have made.

In fact I said we played very well.

And yes I do support Celtic. That is typical if someone doesn't agree with you they are not a Celtic supporter.

The Doctor seems to share my views on today's game and I don't see you telling him he's not a Celtic supporter.

You had a go at me for similar views that I made on a diferent thread, that wasnt unlike Martins views. Thats why I say quite often.

I am sure you want the best also I am not qustioning you on this but you seem to be questioning other peoples motives.

I am sure we can all agree that we want Celtic to achieve the best. But people have an opinion on how best we can go about achieving this. It is obviously not possible for everyone to agree on how we get there. But I think to acuse people of not being a ¨Celtic suporter¨ or say to someone to¨Get a Life¨ this is not constructive and can be seen as a form of bullying.

It is not negative to point out flaws it is just looking at things objectively. This is the point you seem to be missing.

You just questioned whether or not I supported Celtic. Exactly what you say in this post you don't do.

Im just stunned at celtic supporters who find it hard to applaud a good days work without criticizing aspects of it.

    its not needed .

Young supporters will read this site and think ...* is this , we win and still eejits want to slag

    poor show

Young supporters will read this forum and be scared to post because they fear they'll be abused for expressing their view.

I have given plenty of applause for today's performance.

Why do you say we want to slag.? And agin you refer to us as eejits not exactly insulting eh:31: Maybe youve got tourets or somehing?. If so then I apologise.

I have said umpteen times that we played great football today attacking wise.

Although defensively we didnt look asured mainly at cross balls. How is that so bad for young suporters to read.

Is it much better for them to read insults and ofensive remarks.?

I'm with the Doc as well on this. this thread ain't only about today's game, it's about a certain period of time which gives us the bigger picture. I love celtic and I want the best for my club. that's why I think weak links don't benefit the team, they need to be replaced, so that we remain competitive for the rest of the season. today was only one step on the long road to the title!

    caldwell out now
