Right so is the medical happening now, tonight or tomorrow? All sorts of reports going about.

 

I think once we get a proper good CM in the team we are looking decent

 

Probably best to just think it'll be done over the weekend. Save the disappointment everytime you come in here looking..

 

If Rodgers gets the best out of Sinclair like he did at Swansea he will be a grand signing. Still hoping for St Juste for the defence. If the link to Aziz Tetteh is true he is a pretty solid defensive midfield player. Duljevic or a similar type of player would be good for depth on the wing.

 

Get um signed will be a top class signing I think.

 

A CM with a bit of class about him should be our #1 priority right now.

 

I dont think we need a striker. Dembele, Griffiths, Ciftci are the main 3, we also have Roberts, Christie, Sinclair(hopefully), Commons(maybe) who could fill in up there in an emergency. Adding another guy would be overdoing it unless Ciftci and Commons leave.

 

If we signed Bamford I'd hallucinate

 

If we get sinclair, a holding defensive midfielder is the priority, someone to screen the backline and is very comfortable in possession

 

Aye, i'd probably rather someone defensive though and of a decent height. A solid type of player like a Ledley(would take Ledley back if we can get him).

That would be ideal for Europe and big games, a solid 3 in the middle, 2 quality wide players and Dembele who can hold the ball up, win balls in the air, beat players etc

From then we could look to improve one of the midfield into someone with more class a better version of Armstrong/McGregor/Johansen/Allen in January or next season.

But seriously there isn't a lot to get excited about there, he'll have to step it up this season in terms of his end product. I appreciate it was a tough season to be at Villa.

I'd really like that as well, straight buy though, no loan. Then even a loan or something in another area, maybe another winger or centre mid..

I think I'd be happy with concluding our business at that. Making up the rest with any development kid's, who I think we'll both agree, we have a real good batch of, capable of stepping up.... And I think a whole host will leave between now and the close..

Your comparing guys playing in the EPL for a team who were hardly in possession never mind getting him on the ball often to Celtic in the SPL.

For me Sinclair will run amok up here, I rate him better than Maloney and McGeady who were 2 of the best players in the League when we had them.

He'll probably see 4x as much of the ball here and instead of playing against guys like Bellerin, Clyne, Ivanovic, Sagna, Valencia, Walker, Janmaat etc he'll be playing dumpings like Dave Mackay, Patterson, Tavernier and fucknos whos half the clubs in the Leagues right backs.
