[No Link] Scott Sinclair

I think I seen someone on the forum say that we have until the 8th to register players for the play-off round.

 

Stephen McGowan saying on Twitter looks more unlikely now.

 

Villa don't need the money, they recently got bought out. Would take Sinclair himself to help push the move through before it got started.

 

Is he a reliable source? Daily mail....

they are all full of bullshit these so called twitter punters only Brendan and the those in the know at Celtic are the ones to believe

 

If not him we need to get the finger out and get wide player (or players in pronto). Hamstring tweak to Roberts simply spells out how much we rely on him and have no one even close to giving us same option.

The delay on this transfer could have seen us topple out last night again for another season, as our width in an attacking sense was then severely limited.

I'm thinking last night will be a wake up call and how close we are to qualifying so wide player must be brought in for next round, coupled with the fact Villa are spending big money to bring in Ross McCormack might see then rate Sinclair as surplus now as they've brought in another attacking option.

If not, simply move on and get another from the list of 5-6 they must have.

 

The best source that I am going to listen to on any deals has taken a worrying and very Celtic-esque of old tone. Brendan Rodgers is in the papers saying Celtic fans need to be patient and that this squad is good enough to get us into the CL groups. Don't hold your breath for any signings until we qualify (or not then we will buy *)

 

Villa just bought McCormack for £12m this morning- so it makes me think the Sinclair deal may get done.

 

Looks like Sinclair might play our last friendly a week on Saturday, maybe Motherwell on Wednesday. No excuse now, we can sell a few players now, we just banked at least £5M in Europa at least, if we fail to get the £20M in the Champions League. I think we will get Champions League with Erik back at least out of all injured players.

The manager has to say these sort of things,he may or may not believe it but where would he get if he came out and said...nope team is *...need 5 new players and we have no chance without them.

Can't believe they've spent that much on mccormack, makes me think they're likely to expect a ridiculous fee for Sinclair. Still, hope we get it done.
