Crow...you can't say he'll have a medical on Friday, announced Saturday, press conference Sunday and then when it doesn't happen, qualify your statements with 'Villa playing hardball'. Thats not information, its common knowledge. Either the deal was on the verge of completion or it wasn't. You really shouldn't be in the prediction business with your strike rate.

You know things are going badly when we talk about players we would like to sign....normally the club says nothing.
Think this is just going to drag on with more 100% honest its the truth rumours.

Not the best of stats since leaving the Swans.. but I imagine a lot of his Villa and City appearances were as sub.

One thing with him is that he hasn't ever really been a player to assist goals, more of a goalscorer than a provider of goals.

I just do not understand this mentality. You either think the player will be a success here or you dont. You say you are all for the transfer so im assuming you rate the player and think he would improve us. So why is 3.5 your limit ? Why not pay 4 or 5 if you are all for the transfer? If the guy is going to give us that extra quality than why lose out on that just that to save 500k or a million quid. Lets get the quality on the park . We have spunked money on unknlwn * too often lets pay the 4-5 mill for a bit of established quality. Why are fans setting prices ?

In your case totally right mate, but my reason is that Villa are just taking the * out of this and while they have every right to set a price they are trying to * us up. It would be a bad signal for the future to just pay 1m more for a potentially quality player for having him a couple of days earlier then you would get with patience and more pressure by Club and the player who wants to come here.

If we are the site who * around the transfer then of course lawell and co. should be blamed for not getting him pronto and showing desire and preparation.

Alex O'Henley of BBC Alba reckons no signings will be completed or otherwise until after the Astana game. It does make sense as they will be wanting to know if European football is a cert.

Even if we lose which I doubt and the board think that Dembele and Toure are acceptable for our summer transfer business then they can shove their season ticket money up their * next season.

We need to buy NOW stop * about

Who's says the board or the manager for that matter think it's acceptable??

The problem we have is that Scottish Football isn't that attractive for players and we need offer them as many opportunities as possible to attract them to the club. Guaranteed European Football and particular Champions League is one such advantage.

Am as frustrated as anyone, but sadly can see why they are delaying, the calibre of player we bring in will depend if we have Europe and at what level. Pretty * but it's how it is :54:

I get this with other targets we may have etc but Sinclair ain't playing European football if he doesn't sign with us. No other sides are in for him. Villa, are playing the * with this transfer. Offer what BR and PL value him at, if they say no, tell them to * off and move onto another tRget.

I would love to see how much we have thrown away in net terms for the likes of Miku, Lassad, Balde, Cifti, Pukki, Cole, Bangura etc over the last few years.

Our transfer policy with strikers is nothing short of a * disgrace in my eyes.

Just because you pay 4-5 million on someone doesnt mean he will be a success. Sinclairs recent record is poor but if and it is an if Rodgers can get him back on form then 4-5 million is a fair price. On current and recent form though he isnt worth that.
