    Other clubs being Man City where he failed to break into a top class side and WBA where granted I don't know what happened.

    I had questions over his hunger at the beginning of this thread but I have came round to the idea more and more. Each time I think about it I can only see him being a good signing.

    If we are unwilling to bring him in for the sake of a few hundred thousand then that is a bit of a kick in the nads for Brendan as it appears he is the guy he wants most. If there is one manager who knows if he is hungry enough or not it is Rodgers.

    You can see why he didnt like it at Villa though, they are garbage and Sinclair is a natural attacking footballer, he will love football up here for us I think, on the ball all the time always on the attack. More like he was used to with Swansea especially in the Championship.

    He never cut it at Man City but thats irrelevant, Roberts wouldnt get near a game for them and he's superb for us.

    The way city and Chelsea hoover up young talent and waste them is only good news for us. Instead of getting them at 18 we get them at 22. Still young and still equally talented. No shame on a guy that young not breaking into squads like city. It leaves them hungry and wanting to play after wasting 4 years barely playing. They'll have something to prove. Do well here and there off for the premiership anyway. While winning trophies and champions league on the way. Win for all sides.

    Aye they must spend more bringing in young players than we do on our first team squad,Chelsea had something like 28 players out on loan last year,their player rota must be huge

    That doesn't really make sense, that's like saying Southampton over paid for Wanyama because we only bought him for 900k. The money we pay should match his ability as a footballer.

    It's not like that saying that at all Wanyama was class and done things to encourage teams to pay big money for him. Scott Sinclair has played about 20 games for villa and done he haw.
