I find this whole situation amazing.

I mean, if we really have been putting in bids and only upping them by a few hundred thousand each time that is laughable.

Negotiating is one thing but there really is no point in * about like that. If they value him at a certain price we either meet it because we rate him and need him in, OR, we move on. It can't be that difficult.

IF this is true, what does this say to Rodgers if the board are * about like this and not willing to even pay out £3m for the guy he (seemingly) wants most of all?

Latest off rejected by Villa, Celtic are losing patience with Keith Wyness, they've twice met a valuation he's hinted would be acceptable.

Go to 3 million then if not the * can get to *

Am I the only one not really bothered about this signing?

I'd seriously rather spend £4m on a centre back or a striker, as opposed to more midfielders or wide players.

Really? We only really have Roberts as a proper wide-option of any real quality.

We literally just signed a centre-back who'll most likely be a starter for us despite of his age.

Sinclair is a forward, not a midfielder. And we currently have 3 strikers, depending on what formation we play they could be competing for the one spot in a 4-3-3.

We badly need 2 wingers never mind one.

GMS and Forrest aren't of the level required and Roberts isn't even our player.

I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong. It just seems to me as though he is similar to players like Christie and Allan from what I've seen/read.

Admittedly, I've not watched a lot of Sinclair so I could be totally wrong.

£4.5m is quite a big fee for us even in this day and age, considering the league that we play in.

Sinclair is a completely different player from Allan mate and Christie as well.

Yeah Allan and Christie are more playmakers/attacking midfielders, Sinclair is a final third player. He was pretty much a striker when he was a youngster at Chelsea. For example if we play 4-3-3 then I'd much rather Sinclair and Roberts flanking Griffiths than having Allan or Christie or whoever else that's not really suited to a wide-forward role out there.

Lots of conflicting info coming from twitter. Lots of people saying the deal's done, just waiting on a medical today. Others saying we are still miles apart on price let alone having him in Glasgow. I'll take it with a grain of salt but I just want this deal over the line and done.

I think with how long it's been drawn out people couldn't be bothered anymore but this is the perfect chance for us to get a top quality winger that we've been crying for at a good price, whose played at a great level. This signing reminds me alot of Boerrigter in a way, a player looking for a fresh start whose proven he can cut it at a higher level before, lets just hope Sinclair turns out to be a better buy than Boerrigter did...

The deal is at an advanced stage, only thing holding it up is the structure of the deal.

Alex OHanley saying Villa playing hard ball but deal is at an advanced stage, player and manager wants the move. Apparently it's the structure of the deal. So it's not over yet! Alex anticipates deal will be done eventually.

Why are we making these * bids it's like the 4th now...

If they want him so bad just be more realistic instead of upping by 100k each time ffs
