    Why next week.

I've always wondered how these negotiations go:56:. Surely they can just go "Right lads, £3m and add ons, final offer, right here right now, will you accept?"

If no, we forget it. Why is a few days going to change things.

It's when we'll be done counting the pennies in the jar.

  5. Probably why your not a Chief Executive...

    Aye that'll be it.

It doesn't make sense as an outsider looking in. All I am saying.

They have rejected £2.5m, why would they suddenly accept 500k more?

  7. Time, player getting disgruntled, a host of reasons showing we won't budge incase they go well let's make it 3.5 etc.

We know he cost them 2.5 m so why pay much over that?

That is exactly why I am saying just offer them £3m or so and be done with it.

No point * about like we usually do. If they want £6m or so as is rumoured then go elsewhere.

  9. I get your view point, however tbh his wages will be horrendous no doubt so that 500k could actually make a difference too us.

I'd rather go for Anya tbh

    Anya is just pace.

    He won't give you goals.

If he comes in how will the team line up this season, difficult fitting Sinclair, Dembele, Griffiths, Roberts and Rogic together

  12. He could in a 4-1-3-2, but I don't think Brendan will be thinking that way (sadly).

    I hope to * he isn't thinking that:smiley-laughing002:

  14. Domestically that team would destroy everybody, how else are you going to fit them all in then?

You can't just play essentially one midfielder, particularly if it's Bitton who can't defend very well.

They aren't all going to fit in unfortunately, that's just the way it goes.

If it was up to me, and Dembele turns out to be as good as we all hope, I'd have a midfield and attack of....

    Armstrong X Rogic

    Roberts Dembele Sinclair

Would be a serious bit of business if we get it over the line, he's capable of ripping defences apart on his day. Put the money we're getting from Johansen and pit it directly into getting done.

  17. Is was thinking
    ------------------- X-------Rogic
    -------Roberts-----------------Sinclair
    --------------Dembele----Griffiths

X obviously being someone new who is willing to sit but is better at defending than Bitton. Playing two wide men leaves space for Rogic to run into.

  18. That's a good shout actually, would still have Bitton as the X though personally.

  19. Everyone has their opinion, but Rodgers made Henderson look excellent so if he can work his magic on bitton I'll Be happy
